YOUTUBE'S COPYRIGHT CLAIM SYSTEM SUCKS!!

Interested to hear the stories of any fellow creators if you've had issues yourself with copyright claims! Also, apologies for the drop in audio quality on this video - was testing out a new shotgun mic and didn't position it very well!

Did you get a copyright STRIKE for sure, or did the video just get blocked because there was copyright info detected? Sometimes a video can have copyright info detected, but still be allowed to be viewed on KZbin... and sometimes when you upload, it gets outright blocked because of the copyright info. But that doesn't usually equate to a strike, right off the bat.

They gave me a limited copyright claim at my edit because a song that's not even of them, now its banned in Russia and Belarus

Yup and it's been going on for a long time. I think the only way it will change is for labels to get onboard with this kind of thing. I don't think KZbin is willing or able to solve the issue. Hopefully more and more artists will make it known that they're okay with this kind of content and they can push for change from the inside, but we all know how little power the artists have.

Yep I don't think KZbin really cares, or has the ability to do much like you say (although I think they could definitely do more than they're doing currently.) A big problem a lot of the time is the major labels - time and time again artists have stated that they don't care about their music being used under fair use, but the labels ultimately have the power.

Well yeah everytime someone or family is playing music due to a party the moment I'm recording videos I instantly get copyright claim and my video will not be monetize now no matter what I do. KZbin FUCKING SUCKS and.....I'm thinking about quitting my channel
