Do you know if the music clips are licensed ONLY for shorts, or can they be used on long form videos as well?

They are not. KZbin has a separate program called "Creator Music" that is being tested in beta right now. In KZbin Studio you will see access to it in the menu on the left if they've given it to your channel. It has some music you can use for free, and other music you can pay to license.
