ok so u want your puppy to have separation anxiety right off the bat.. taking the crate everywhere u go doesn't teach the dog / puppy that he /she can be alone and not loose their mind. ur starting to sound like zak george with the treats all the time.

Puppies are naturally stressed when transitioning homes. We build a bond first and help them feel safe in their new surroundings as we teach them how to be alone, all in the first week together.

@@baxterandbella when we got our mini american shepard we had the breeder put 1 blanket in with him and his litter mates... not always an option but it helps with alot of stress his first few days. Him and all his litter mates also met my 2 big dogs the day before we brought him home so he knew them and i knew they would be good together. 1st night in a crate between the 2 big dogs crates in our bedroom he slept for 5 hours no problems. We woke him up and took him and the 2 big dogs out to potty etc. ate breakfast no problems ever but the crates are in our bedroom and he takes naps in there etc. he is now 8 months old only 1 accident in the house and it was my fault. i never did the room to room crate moving or anything... my mother has been staying with us due to her health but always an adult in the house. 1 thing i have noticed with him is he is very shy not scared but cautious of feet especially.. i guess because he is small.. he has never been stepped on so,, iono.

@@baxterandbella i thought i typed this already... all 3 dogs sleep in crates in our bedroom. they will go in their crates for naps except there is 3 beds in the living room for little rest here and there. the puppy's crate is in the middle of the 2 big dogs so he doesn't feel like he is alone. i had the breeder put a blanket in with his siblings before we picked him up the next day. He does sleep in his crate with the door open now he is 8 months but he knows he cannot come out. all 3 dogs sleep with the door open we will randomly close doors except my mutt she is a diabetic detection dog so her door stays open.. i actually removed it. he has had 1 accident in the kitchen but that was my fault he had his collar on and i thought i took it off by the time i realized it was on him he went potty..lol it was 4am gimme a break..lol and he was like 9 weeks old so not a set back just a forgetful owner at 4am..lol
