Not really... These players that Techno was up against were blatantly better than him at general PvP for almost his entire career(even well into 2021). Technoblade's skill mostly came from his insane gamesense... Not his PvP aptitude.

During the dream and techno duel, i'd say that was his peak in rod pvp, he has really good strafe patterns and accurate rods, you can see that from his duel with calvin
