Bem was a maddening Character but as a Colony Creature an amazing concept. Too bad this could not be done live action with a few adjustments. The Practical Joker was just a fun episode. Classic "Kirk is a Jerk" became a nice shirt. How Sharper than a Serpent's Tooth won Star Trek' s only Emmy Award for a very long time. The Counter Clock Insident could have been an excellent live action episode with a few updates.
