And also scott has gone on record saying he's changed things post matpat videos so most of them are defunct by now (also scott mainly built the story by what he saw as cool which is why designs changed a lot for example toy chica loses her beak while hunting because it looks scary and thus cool it's why springtrap's design completely changes between games like gaining big goofy feet, getting a snout, and broken bits on him changing location simply just for the reason of "this looks scarier" which was a thing the third game fumbled a little with)

What even is FNAF lore nowadays? I used to be really into it as a kid, back when it was just "some kids got murdered and now their ghosts are haunting robots." But as the series went on, it started getting so extremely convoluted. All of a sudden there's two purple guys, multiple bites of varying years, multiple sets of murdered children, the animatronics are now sci-fi robots, people just die and then come back to life, and nothing is ever actually explained, and at that point I just stopped caring.
