People keep going "THIS WAS A MASSACRE" or "SAKURAI DESTROYED MY DREAMS" with these Mii Costumes, which is the exact opposite of how Sakurai wants us to take them. The way I see it, the next character is the final one for this game, so if these Mii Costumes are here now, that means they were never going to be the final DLC fighter because Nintendo chose all the fighters already. This is Sakurai's way of trying to give the fans what they want, despite not selecting them as characters. ...Besides, it's back to square one once the final fighter is added, so it's not like these characters will never be in Smash Bros. after this point.

My reactions: Lloyd: Not surprised. It was inevitable since he was the last missing third party costume from Smash 4, and Kazuya is a Namco character same as him. Dragonborn: That’s actually really cool. I couldn’t remember the name of the series as I don’t have Skyrim but I recognized him and knew of him. Dante: Laughed my ass off because I knew how many people’s dreams just got crushed. Not a Dante hater or anything and would be totally awesome to see him in, but he’s not on my most wanted list so I just found it funny. That aside really cool costume. Shantae: Now this one had me HYPED. I wanted Shantae as a fighter, but the Mii costume is still really cool! On top of the fact that she came with a track!

Ugh. Can people not be petty for once? They’re technically still in the game. It’s better than not having them at all and have them tell you that you’ll never ever see them in the game in any way till the day you die. The fact Sakurai said these picks are popular requests to become fighters indicates that that the team knows how much people want them in and instead of (once again) giving the fans nothing, they’re coming up with an alternative, a compromise you can say, via these Mii costumes. It's interesting to see everyone's varying reactions across the different Mii costumes. You can tell which characters people genuinely wanted in the game. Dovakiin doesn't really make sense with his actual model in this game's art style. Mii Swordfighter was the right call for him. Disappointed Shantae didn't get in, she would have been cool, but I guess this is as much as we can expect for her.

@@nessesaryschoolthing If Cuphead can't get into smash then the other indie characters are not an options. Which says alot since Sakurai loves Cuphead. Fun Fact: Shantae wan inspired by Dinsey's Aladdin the game. Donkey Kong was made compete with Disney's Aladdin the game as well which led to Banjo Kazooie. This is why I'm comparing the two because they have similar origins. They also have similar attacks. Shantae's cannon jump functions like Banjo's shock spring jump. Shantae's Harpy form is exactly like Kazooie's feathery flap and tallon trot. Shantae's whip very similar to the rat at tat rap. Shantae's pistol is like Kazooie's breagull baster and Finally Shantae's scimitar dash is as powerful as the wonder wing.
