That red scary one is for tarako source for pasta, tarako is salted egg rows and it started mid 80s in Japan when they started to create a different tastes by mixing the traditional Japanese ingredients with Italian with pasta.

That's hilarious because Hannah actually does speak Japanese. Whenever you're able to understand a language it's a different experience than a person who doesn't catch a word. I was watching a movie earlier today where they switched from Malay to Japanese for a second and I was like, "!!!" because for a few short seconds I understood what was being said. But the person next to me just kept watching, not understanding Malay or that Japanese. So understanding just a little bit or completely everything both change your experience versus a person who depends 100% on the subtitles (or lack thereof).

The one about the "pasta sauce" babies was actually about tarako (たらこ), or fish roe (which look like big pink sacks of caviar), which Japanese often eat with spaghetti and seaweed. Quite tasty actually.
