I think what really made this segment of the song impactful to me was the SECOND "My Way." Like, physically this man looks like a creepypasta monster, right? Obviously. But it was the way he looks downward despite the smile and the delivery of the 2nd "My Way" that broke my trance. "Hol up. There was... EMOTION there..." and it's always the second "My Way" that sends those goosebumps up my arm more than the first one.

I’ve seen this scene so many times and I JUST realized that the entire time there’s the color red visible SOMEWHERE on the screen until Yourself says “My Way”excluding the notes of course. Just theorizing but it feels like from that point on Yourself accepted that Herself was gone and from that point on, even though he felt the last flash of her soul, it’s just him and him being selfish enough to think that beating BF will bring Herself back and I think that the notes themself turning blue is BF sympathizing with Yourself and understanding that he would be the same way if put through the same circumstances. I’ve always loved that the song doesn’t have a clear winner though, showing that they’re equals because they are in fact the same person.
