You're not changing into something else. You are growing and improving with the times. Stuff that was funny 6 years ago isn't gonna be funny now. Times are changing and you gotta change with them. Such as life. Creators come on social media to create. For who? The audience if it wasn't for the likes, clicks, and views most influencers wouldn't be who they are now. This is a job believe it or not. So if you don't maintain the product it will expire and people will move on. It's nothing personal it's just business and facts. So if you don't maintain your channel if you don't make it more modern, relatable, and keep the target audience interested. People will click off and find something that is more interesting. Which will result in subscribers leaving and the views going down. It's the social media circle of life. It is what it is. All these people he mentioned I never found funny not even back then. But that's just a preference. One of the people he mentioned I didn't even know about until now. That's how irrelevant and un-funny some of these social media "stars" are to me. But hey to each their own.
