I took many FAA written test, CFI and CFII check rides at the Oakland FISDO on Airport Road. So much aviation history, thank you for taking the time and posting this on youtube.

Thanks for this. I've driven by it dozens of times going to or from the OAK rental car center, but never took the time to stop. It's better than I imagined.

At 6:35 when reading the Kittyhawk Corporation plaque why not make a still of it and still continue to read it but let the audience see what you are reading. Just a Suggestion but it takes some time to edit.

HoundDogMech, I used to do it the way you suggested, but a lot of viewers hated it and complained that they could not read it as easily as I could, or they read slower or faster than the time I showed the still image. So I changed my method to reading the sign while trying to still show something more interesting (not easy to do!). And in the case of the Oakland museum, I needed to rush through, keeping the video going, since I needed to be in my way in only half an hour.

Any airplane videos are worth watching Really like most of yours but When are people, making KZbin Videos going learn to place their lower thirds high enough to be above the Progress Line when Paused (Mostly because they aren't on the screen long enough to read and watch the video too).
@youtuuba2 жыл бұрын
HoundDogMech, perhaps your comment would be worthwhile if you explained what the heck you are talking about. I can only guess that you are referring to KZbin's red line that can obscure the lower part of the screen image when it is highlighted. I don't know about how things work on your computer, but on mine, that red line disappears when I don't have the mouse pointer hovering over it. Simple solution! As for where I frame MY videos, especially in context with where my text captions are, I don't edit them to be paused. I edit them to have the text in the place that obscures as little of the primary subject as possible while viewing the video normally (e.g. NOT paused). I read all my text captions during editing, taking my time doing so, and then make them 150% of the duration it took me to read them slowly. This is done out of consideration for viewers who read slower than I do. I would certainly NOT put my text in a more obtrusive place just to cater to those few viewers who read very slowly.

another fascination video of highway and asphalt, you never seem you give yourself enough time when you decide to make visit. would really enjoy you driving back and forth on Mannheim road when driving to O'Hare airport would be equally fascinating. Maybe frontage road shots. please more engine shot.

Brian Grant, now that you have made a point of commenting negatively and cluelessly on two of my videos, I need to say that more humility would suit you better. Nobody cares whether you personally don't like the ambience, which is expressly provided to show where these places are and in what kind of location. A lot of my viewers like and appreciate this ambience. I disgusts me that presumed adults can be so childish about these petty things , when KZbin makes it so easy for you to fast forward over the parts you don't like.
