I never liked how Capcom stuck with the version 1.0 ROMs for the games. I wish they'd update the games in this collection with the newest ROMs; especially for Alpha 3.

I can imagine Street Fighter characters talking in their native tongue when “Tekken x Street Fighter” comes along next-gen. It’ll be interesting to hear Blanka speak growled Portuguese, Vega/Balrog (Claw) speak Spanish, Rashid speak Arabic, Chun-Li speak Chinese, Sagat speak Thai, Zangief speak Russian, and so forth. It’ll be a weird voiceover, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it.

2nd impact is superior. Ken doesnt even have an own theme in 3rd strike. Don’t get me wrong, 3rd strike is an awesome ost, but 2nd impact is super awesome.

While its awesome if the street fighter characters talk their native language. But the issue could be if they go for a cheap loop hole like tekken used to. Some characters dont talk because their language isnt English or Japanese (example Mexican King should speak Spanish not make jaguar noises and Russian Sergei doesnt speak at all)

When I first started playing, I thought they did, so I asked the Italian teacher at my high school what the best approximation I could muster of what Rose says when she wins means. Apparently "mata mata ne" or whatever my version of it was means "what's in it for me?", which had me very mistaken about what sort of person Rose was at first.

How is it that 3rd Strike Online on PS3/X360 and Fightcade handles better than 30th Anniversary? How is it that the black sheep of Marvel vs. Capcom in Infinite has better netcode than SF5? Capcom (sighs), your FG division needs to get their s#¡& together next-gen, or you’ll find yourselves dethroned by ArcSys or Namco or SNK

To be fair to the 30th Anniversary Collection, wouldn't the games compiled within be ports? Not all ports are godlike; most are passable, and responsibility for porting the game over to other systems is often handled by a third party (i.e. Shiver handling the port of MK11 to the Switch). Not sure who was responsible for the ports in the 30th Anniversary Collection, but I can't see Capcom being very supportive of them with regards to netcode development.

Kyle Nguyen In case you’re wondering, Digital Eclipse is the company behind SF 30th Anniversary Collection, and they recently did Samurai Shodown Neo Geo Collection, and no surprise, _both Online netcodes are bad._ Ironically, they both run on rollback, but their implementations are the worst. Iron Galaxy did a better job with 3rd Strike Online on the PS3/X360, and Code Mystics did the same with SamSho V Special.
