@flormartmander I didn't have a mentor when I was growing up in yoyo. On one hand it can be much harder, but on another hand, it can be great for your development, because it forces you to explore your own style and to be original. =)

Haha, I just mean - I couldn't see any of what he was doing while he threw a sleeper and I don't think any of the crowd facing towards him did either. After that, he killed it. Augie's like the "whip master" haha

Hahaha, if you listen close, you can hear me respond to the kids. They're some of my yoyo students and they are too rad. I wasn't worried about the distraction, because I was just competing for fun. I hadn't planned on competing; I went on stage at the last minute and made up the performance on the spot. =)
