I don't think he would've been deducted that many points especially based on the nature of the switches. I tried to find the score sheet but couldn't, so it's hard to say. Although it still speaks to how well he did that he got 1st even with the issues he had during his performance. On the other hand, this wouldn't have sold me on a getting a Positron. Lol

Solatic Syot Baping is when you take two halves of different yoyos and use them together. The original Bapezilla was just two different solid colors, but Baping now refers to combining any two halves.

I mean, the best part of all these freestyles is just how freakin cool they are. WINNING isn't really what it's all about for me. But, actually, I do think it's cool that someone can leap out of nowhere and win at Worlds.
