I just don't know what to say. I am so delighted Wave! Brother I am 63 and take it from me doubting yourself and/or downing your abilities is a waste of these precious days. Chose to dispute the negative noises in your head. You've probably never lived in a building with steam heating. Pipes run thru the building with steam going to radiators in the rooms. But the pipes rattled at times. Loudly. It was meaningless noise. It persisted so long that we just ignored it. So yeah the pipes are gonna rattle. Everyday. You just got to dispute them. The more you do the more they will wither. I would give my eye teeth to play ONE instrument the way you do. You are valued by the Somas. Yoyokal is wearing a Wave Potter hoodie. You patrons believe in you. I believe in you. So join us in our appreciation and belief in you. Others here have said it better. You have given so much to Yoyoka's fans with every reaction and I think that is a great accomplishment! Ok here endeth the sermon! P S Sorry if this is inappropriate but it is from the heart.

If you were to make a 60 or 90 minute loop of your Yoyo Collab Duet Improv Jam, I could easily see me using it as my lay down and sign off soundtrack a few times every week. Funny you should ask.. my maple snare drum (that Yoyoka used in this video) actually broke the morning of filming while i was tuning it up. One of the lug casings broke, so the snare couldn't be properly tuned. Then when she was here, i think she was worried that she did that, and i was trying to tell her that i had broken it earlier that morning. 😂 But thankfully the sound didn't seem to suffer from that.

Well she started out using the slide technique back when she made that bass drum headless triplets tutorial, but i think over time, she's gotten such mastery over it, that the motion she uses is much more concise and effortless to get the doubles! But it's combining the motion of the leg with the motion of the ankle to get two notes in one motion.
