To put it into context, before a lot of these big Kpop groups, there was One Direction. The way BTS, Blackpink, etc are popular, 1D was HUGE! I’m talking global fandom, people crying on the news when they broke up. One Direction was a whole era, you had to be there to understand (how popular they were). It was crazy.

One Direction was the first and last boy band that have had a special spot in my heart. They were my teenage years. No matter how many other boy groups came or how big kpop bgs get for me One Direction is the one and only I grow up with them. It aches my heart to see people underestimating them, in their time from 2010 till 2015 they were the biggest boy band and no one can change that. Their songs-specially the non singles- are much more meaningful than most of these new songs.

I was and always will be a directioner, they were my first loves and I had the biggest crush on Harry. They came into my life when I was 13 and very depressed. Their music spoke to me when nothing else could get through to me and at times it felt like they knew what I was going through. I was really sad when Zayn left and heartbroken when they announced their indefinite hiatus. I almost got to see Louis perform last month for the first time in ten years but due to weather conditions the show was cancelled. I'm hoping and praying they make a comeback someday, especially because they never toured their last album. The five of them will always have a special place in my heart. I remember watching a video of the 1D members getting asked about advice they would give to BTS and Niall said he once heard them rehearse for a performance at an award show.

For Night Changes, they are doing a music video on how they would take their date but it ended wrong. One might spill over the drink and catch this arm on fire, one on the amusement park in this spinning ride and ended up throwing up on their date, going to the roller skating place wanted to do a special move but ended up falling and getting up getting stitches, going on a date but it ends up that one guy ends up getting jealous and taking her away gone wrong. Then in the car taking stroll all of a sudden, ends up pulling over by a cop. These are dates but ended up wrong. I love it and the music video.

I couldn’t finish this video without crying (I’m a directioner), I will never regret being a directioner, 1D was definitly a whole era in its self, plus the fact that they didn’t follow the standard boy band image they didn’t wear matching clothes, didn’t dance, and just had fun with fan and different toys/games on stage during concerts. I miss them so much that I can’t hear their songs without crying (I know it’s stupid but I’m an emotional person and their songs back then where my escape).
