Hamish had just gone through a major operation for cancer…. His wish was to visit a WW1 battlefield, I promised him, once he well enough I would take him to Ypres….. this is Part 1 of his first battlefield tour… (Travels with Hamish).

Traveling through these various cemeterys you find yourself becoming weiry of the sadness and futility of war and long for a pint... God bless our great British Tommy's 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Thank you for your comment, you cannot but be overwhelmed by the loss and the amount of cemeteries that are in Flanders’s fields.
