I am floored by this scene. I have to say that the dance in the rain scene in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is by far the most romantic scene I've ever seen in any movie (which is amazing because they don't even kiss) and this scene is the most dramatic scene I've ever seen in any movie (which is amazing because no one is sobbing). Also I don't understand how she does it but Kajol says a million words with her eyes in one second. These ppl know how to act.

Amir Khan wasn't planning nor waiting for a chance to reveal his identity to Kajol. Rather it was a sudden and quiet moment and he just collapsed emotionally. Such brilliant scriptwriting! Still can't believe both Gangster and Fanaa were released almost within the same month in mid-2006. Bollywood was at its peak then.

The fact that Aamir Khan only saw Kajol to be Zooni when he first heard the script and the producer - director followed his suggestion to approach Kajol and Kajol rejected the offer from other film and said yes to this film and they both killed my entire screen..... I think it's god's plan. Hopelessly wanting them to be together in another movie again. They're really fantastic.

@TejaPrak-vu3zn Abhishek Bachchan and Preity Zinta were not the first choices for Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. The cast for the film was completely different. The original star cast for the film was Amitabh Bachchan, Kirron Kher, Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgan, Kajol, and Rani Mukherjee. Ajay Devgan and Saif Ali Khan were both offered the role and character of Rishi Talwar. But they both turned it down due to date issues, as they were both shooting for Omkara at the time. Abhishek Bachchan was then brought on board. This marked his 2nd film with his dad, Amitabh Bachchan, after Bunty Aur Babli. The role of Maya Talwar was first offered to Kajol. Kajol was first approached for the role of Maya Talwar. But she turned it down and opted out because she chose Fanaa over Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Plus, Kajol was shooting for Fanaa at the time. Her dates were clashing with Fanaa. So Kajol couldn't be part of Karan Johar's film because of that. Kajol was supposed to play Maya Talwar, and Rani Mukherjee was supposed to play the role of Rhea Saran. However, after Kajol opted out. Rani Mukherjee's role was swapped, and she ended up playing Maya Talwar. After that, Preity Zinta was later brought in and cast to play the role of Rhea Saran. Preity Zinta then went on to essay the role of the hardworking Rhea Saran. To be honest, Kajol made the right decision to choose Fanaa. Because it was a fresh male co-star opposite her, which was Aamir Khan. Plus, she would've looked weird in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. She would've looked awful in the role of Maya. Plus, Kajol had never done a solo film opposite Aamir Khan. I'm going to be honest, if I were Kajol, I would've chosen Aamir Khan over Shahrukh Khan any day and any time. Also, I would've chosen Fanaa any day and any time. Fanaa is one of my all-time favourite films, especially from 2006. Also, Kajol had already done enough and too many films with Shahrukh Khan. The jodi would've been repetitive and the same old romance. Kajol made the right choice to choose Aamir Khan over Shahrukh Khan. Because Fanaa was a much better film and story than Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. I don't blame Kajol for choosing Fanaa over Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. I'm glad she chose Aamir Khan over Shahrukh Khan. Salute to her choice and decision. I respect Kajol for that 🫡🫡🫡. I prefer Aamir Khan over Shahrukh Khan any day. Aamir Khan is a much better actor and way better-looking than Shahrukh Khan. Shahrukh Khan overacts and hams a lot. He's too loud, annoying, and irritating in all his films.

I love this movie so much. Aamir and Kajol have great chemistry together. Apart from SRK, Aamir is the perfect guy to do more movies with her. Aamir Khan replied, "Kajol! Kajol! and only Kajol. Aamir Khan told Kunal Kohli and the makers to select Kajol. As she could only do justice to a role and character like Zooni. Shahrukh Khan wouldn't have suited Fanaa and the role/character of Rehan. Shahrukh Khan would've looked awful and terrible as Rehan. Shahrukh Khan can't act in these types of films, roles, and characters that Aamir Khan portrays. Shahrukh Khan can't act in innocent and soft characters like Aamir Khan. Fanaa suits only Aamir Khan better. Fanaa was destined and tailor-made for Aamir Khan.

I watched this movie because I love the soundtrack: Fanaa. First, I doubt kajol and aamir will have good chemistry but still I want to watch it because I'm curious. I never expected they will have great chemistry. It's really blowing my mind. Their chemistry is not forced and rushed. It's flowing naturally and so beautiful. I'm crying so hard in the last scene. Eventhough I've watched another kajol and aamir movies, Rehan-Zooni have the best chemistry! Now I can say that Fanaa is my number one on my Best Indian Movies.
