This song is exceptionally meaningful and artistic. See, they have shown their two lives SIDE BY SIDE. Personal, as well as professional. SRK and Madhuri are enacting characters (professionally), as well as they are falling for each other (personally) at the same moments. The way Madhuri runs away from him on the mountains (in the start) shows that she doesn't want to fall for him consciously, but cannot help but falls in love with him. While when they are eating dinner and that Rose suddenly appears on their table, shows that they both are hiding their feelings and escaping from their ownselves, while that "Rose" is symbolically used as their feelings for each other which ARE THERE, and which they are so strongly trying to avoid, but it exists and that's kind of an epiphany that they "suddenly become aware of".

I am 2000's kid from Azerbaijan. This movie... I've watched it today after about 2 years.❤ This is my most favourite movie and it will remain. When I was a little kid there was oftenly this movie on TV. And I watched it again and again. The songs are my favourite. I used to sing "Are re are" and still I do. Even I remember that times I hadn't watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein or Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. This movie is one of my firsts. Masterpiece. Favourite actor, favourite actress, favourite director, favourite songs. Every second of this movie is awasome. I'll never bored of this movie, these songs.
