good video. But why didnt you un-cal it before you put started in each area? wouldnt that cuz it to curve or give bad data?

Hi there recently purchased a used one of these and when trying to calibrate the do meter using the % do it is alwasy out of range. The anode looks to have a fair amount of deposit and the probe solution that i have used was already open. Do you think fresh solution and a clean of the anode would sort my problem? Thanks

It's a shame they never answered your question. I would say yes it will help, provided your DO probe isn't shot. Which can happen. Also, check that the membrane on the cap covering the probe isn't deformed or broken. Another option could be checking that the probe sockets are dried out. Honestly, it could be a number of things. I'm not sure what all he went through in the video, but, if you have any questions please contact me, our company would be happy to help.

Did you hover the probe over water or put it directly in the water? You want to hover not dip. Did you let the probe sit and stabilize for about 10 min? Did you make sure that the screen was reading % and not mg/l? There are many reasons this could happen.

@@cesarlondono155 If you get the "out of range" do you want to accept? never say yes. You most likely need to replace a pH/ORP probe; they can dry out and be useless in as little as 2 years from manufacture date code!
