It's all about proper weight transfer, using brakes and steering and throttle.

@@YSKhongDriving easy for you to say bcoz you are pro. Perhaps on your next Genting drive, you highlight what you do at each corner. Eg, when do you release throttle and by how much (bcoz some corners don’t need to brake). When you do brake, when do you apply brakes. When do you apply throttle on your way out and by how much? That would be interesting to know. Tks in advance.

2023 T8 Recharge Ultimate AWD with combined 462 HP and 709 Nm torque, absolute beast wearing a business suit, top class safety, at this price I cannot think of other better options. 2023 version has manual shifting using B mode with left and right shift, not too intuitive but overall a great great car.

Nice video as always.. Great content. Ever considered making videos that teaches average drivers how to better control their cars in event of emrgency? Aquaplaning etc? Or how to handle a front wheel drive vs a rear wheel drive car?

It's a tough job. I so what every one does, with a slightly different attention to detail and every action is according to the environment, and the same corner is tackled differently according to situation. Not sure if I can capture the essence of it. Not the same as on a race track, as there are other road users, and there is always the element of safety. But I will certainly think about it.

They used to have the paddle swifter in CBU unit. Really no appoint to remove it in CKD! Selling same price some more. #volvomalaysia. We highly demand the padal swifter to be install back to s60. And volvo call button + Google assist! In s60 in Malaysia.

Uncle Khong, they should give 2020 model with polestar for you to test up genting hill, 2019,2020 have paddle shifter, and you can choose Dstc Sport option for driving up and down genting hill.

I reckon still not as good (and fun!) as the Audi Quattro system for taking corners hahaha - especially without the option to manually change gears 😆

Enjoyed the ride, as in P1. The car seems good at the curves, very limitted body roll as seen from the video an my own experience (made test-drive recently). Perhaps not in Malaysia, but the EU version has manual shifter, gear in "B" mode and left-right shifts. Not natural to use must admit.

Volvo is basicly a fast, safe and comforable cruiser. Not really a drivers car. From my experience in P3 volvo . Thats volvo DNA.

Fair comment. Top speed is regulated to 180 kmh anyway. The target market is different.

Interesting car. Did the power reduced at some point of the climb? And is the car handles like a proper awd system like Quattro or Subaru’s?
@YSKhongDriving3 жыл бұрын
As the battery wears down it does slow a bit. The drive system is different, but behaviour is similar. The car handles okay, but watch the video for more comments

First batch CKD with 250km/h limit have the paddle shifter (the one with R-Design badge. New batch have Recharged badge). Those without paddle shifter still can manual shift with the gear level in left/right, which very unintuitive to use to be honest.

Mr. Khong, thanks for your review. Compare between 340i & S60, which one drive better because their power are about the same. If you are choosing between 330e & S60 because of the hybrid which is your choice?

The 340i is clearly the superior car, because the Xdrive is the better system, and overall handling is better. However, against the 330e, the S60 has a clear advantage.
