It's the only one I own from the Y line and I love it . The reason I didn't buy the EDP is because I have bleu de Chanel and Dior sauvage so I thought eau fraiche would be the better addition to my collection, I needed more of a summer scent and this one does great in hot weather.

Personally I'm only loving the EDP from Y. I mean I've only tried EDT and EDP. Not a fan of the EDT, but I haven't tried Y-live yet. But if the free bag and free umbrella are from YSL, I guess I will blind buy it too.....

Harris Lam the EDP gave me the feeling of being at a dentist as in my lips are drying out and I need to bite it . I think it’s probaly the synthetic notes but the edt is much easier for me to enjoy

I'm pretty picky in fragrances (although I barely know anything in the subject) mostly because I'm an Asian and guy fragrances in Asia is not quite a thing yet. Gotta find something that I like, and I think people won't hate, and it has to have character but at the same time not be bold and loud. EDP managed all that with better than average longevity, while EDT in my opinion has a lot less character AND fades faster.

I just got this in today! It’s great. To me, it’s the love child of Dior Homme Cologne, Versace Pour Homme, and Y EDP. Great release and review.

YSL Y Eau Fraiche is definitely in the Versace Pour Homme lane but I like it better -- has a little more depth / character IMO. It also reminds me of Mont Blanc Starwalker and Burberry Touch.

@@representativeofmexico2007 I think it's ideal for those conditions. It has a certain cooling effect I really like. I view it as a spring / summer day time / gym scent that's versatile enough to be worn in a lot of situations. It's also got a beachy vibe like Guess Seductive Homme Blue, but the YSL is brighter and projects more.

Yep! I bet it was the eau fraiche because of the juniper. Funny that was the only tester out at Ulta. I found the opening to be a bit boring, one sided. I also thought of “soap on a rope.” Nicely manly, gentlemanly, almost classic but not really. But I liked the juniper in the mid!! Yeah way better mid/dry down.

For people who want a challenging fragrance just know it’s going to challenge other people’s noses who smell it and they might not like it....I prefer fresh clean scents because they are in fact easy to wear. Loving Prada lhomme

This freaking smells like vintage (2008) Dior Homme Sport!! Has anyone mentioned this? DHS 2008 is the best sport fragrance of all time. This smells pretty close. I freaking love this.

I bought it a day after your initial review. It was at Dillard's for $50 or $55 for the 60 ml. Sprayed it on at 8:00 PM and had a light skin scent by 6:00AM. Citrus/Fresh lasted about 20 minutes with me, then shower gel and woodsy the rest of the night. I was a little saddened by that. So I compared it to something similar in name only. So, I compared it to Versace Eau Fraishe. I have to say that Versace Eau Fraishe's citrus opening lasted for hours, way past the dry down. I think it is a fair benchmark. Our house prefers the Versace Eau Fraishe over YSL Eau Fraishe. BTW Great Job on your follow up impressions.

I just bought this one this past weekend as my first ever scent, to me it was exactly what I wanted. A clean/fresh smelling scent, that the “every man” could wear, that you don’t really have to be dressed in a full suit to use. I really like the Y line aswell. It's weird, but the first time I've smelled the Y eau the toilet, I didn't like it ... and right now, I really enjoy wearing Y Eau de Parfum and Y Live.
