This is the story of YT, a mountainbike manufacturer from Forchheim, Germany. Ten years ago founder and CEO Markus Flossmann decided to ignore the pressure to be ordinary and followed his passion. Since then YT has risen from a first run of 150 steel dirt jump frames to dominating the Downhill World Cup. YT isn’t about superstars and winning races, any more than it is about ‘second being the first loser.’ But it’s about riding. It’s about refusing to be caged. It’s about finding your passion. This is really inspiring, I did not know your brand, until a friend of mine, a real passionate for MTBs, directed me to your site. What a story, and what a set of great bikes you make! The Capra is pretty rad. Although if it’s going to be your do everything bike I’d go jeffsy. The Capra pedals very good considering how much travel it has. The jeffsy would make a better trail bike.

Absolut geile Firma!!! Ich find´s richtig gut, dass ihr keine 9000€-Bikes baut. Auch die Rahmenform vom Tues gefällt mir richtig gut. :) Aber bitte werdet nicht teurer als 2500€ mit dem Tues AL. Wenn dann (hoffentlich) wieder die Rabattaktion im Herbst kommt und ich noch paar mal in den Ferien arbeiten war, werde ich mal meine Eltern überreden :) Momentan muss aber noh das Carver her halten :) Weiter so und auf eine verletzungsfreie Season im UCI !

I have the YT Capra carbon race 27.5 and found a improvement over my Giant carbon reign by feel and speed though a tree section I ride to the tune of 2.4mph compaired to the reign on the same tires with a maxis DHF and a Schwalbe rock razor on the rear. I made the change to a Raceface steering stem to 33mm over the renthal standard on a xxl frame and so much better and then put in Sram eagle 12speed from new instead off the 11 speed E thirteen 9/46 and dumped the code pads and put in sintered so much better trail braking when wet or when discs very hot as I run Shimano ice-tec rotas as they don't warp and cool fast.
