I don't know how stuff like this eventually evolved into the over-stimulating and no plot whatsoever kind of brainrot we see on things like tiktok and youtube shorts. At least in ytps some had a plot/ funny jokes, and ideas that entertain people like myself and made decent content for reaction channels (though I suppose modern brainrot is the same but people mostly trash on it for how bad it it).
