After Agnes, Edith, and Margo's caretaker is determined to have a worrying mud pie-consumption problem, their care is transferred to Gru, who is definitely not Dr. Nefario in disguise. Gru, who has been having a day, sets a few quite reasonable rules as he plots how to get back at the evil Vector, who has stolen a pair of pants. A blind amusement park worker shows Gru the difference between a unicorn and a spaceship, upon which time Gru begins to realize his utter lack of appreciation for his adopted children.
