Do you have any tips and advice for anime poopers. I'm trying to make a YTP on lucky star and having a really hard time making it funny. Any tips for me.

+TheDMhoffland yeah i found this YTP very hard to make funny too :P here are some things i learned from working on it: i found that for this video, i relied on visual gags (effects, masking, playing with the scenery and characters) for the most part in order to create humor. the problem with subbed anime like kiniro mosaic is that it's extremely hard to sentence-mix japanese dialogue into proper english sentences (unless you're geibuchan :P) so you kinda have to rely on more visual stuff instead of sentence-mixing and other audio-based humor. (however if you're using the english dubbed version of lucky star, then you hopefully won't have the same problems i had :D) also you have to study the source material _vigorously_. like i'm pretty sure i spent a good chunk of time on this YTP just searching through each episode for funny stuff that i could do :P on some days you might find nothing, but one day an idea will just come to you out of nowhere and it'll be amazing. this YTP was just the result of me waiting for these moments of genius to arrive - one of the reasons why it took me three months to make. don't be disappointed if it takes as long for you too! forcing yourself to work on YTPs nonstop for days on end just isn't as fun and rewarding, and thus probably won't turn out as great as you wanted it to either :P if you can't think of ideas now, take a break and come back to it later! it is alright to take your time. finally, a word of wisdom just in case: masking anime characters takes absolutely FOREVER. seriously they are way too detailed. oh my god. i spent seven whole minutes just masking a single frame of a character from this anime. that scene at 0:58? it took me hours upon hours _just_ to mask that scene of yoko and aya turning around to face plankton. _however_ if you do it very detailed like i did, it will turn out amazing and it will all be worth it in the end :D (probably) i wish you the best of luck!! :D

just sony vegas, yes! but i do use certain third-party effects from time to time (which is what i used to make the characters in 1:01 loop around the screen). i made 0:53 just by using simple pan-and-cropping. and thank you so much! :D i have been very very busy with high school and other projects, so i do not know when my next video will be coming out, but i promise it will be worth the wait ^u^
