Why did yuya didn't activate Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon effect 💀

Odd eyes rebellion dragon effect only works with monsters that are level 7 and lower with the text stating “If this card is Xyz Summoned by using an Xyz Monster as material: Destroy as many Level 7 or lower monsters your opponent controls as possible, and if you do, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent for each card destroyed, also this card can make 3 attacks during each Battle Phase this turn”; and abyss Ragnarock is level 8, so Reiji bypassed the effect with that monster alone but also odd eyes rebellion dragon does not effect xyz monster I am pretty sure.
