You know.... considering Stardust Trail is basically Aki in a Stardust garb, I'm surprised we didn't get a card like "Black Rose Gardener" that's basically Yusuke in a Black Rose tuxedo or something. Might as well confirm the shipping on both sides.

One of the things I find so frustrating with this archetype is that while it doesn't have the cards to make a decent stand alone deck in most cases, it also doesn't "play well" with other plant archetypes for the most part. Imagine if there was a way to combine it with a more modern and well rounded plant archetype and make both parts stronger. One day i hope we can find that balance.... or Konami gives us a big Rose Dragon support boost with like, a structure deck or something.

True, aside from Carrot Weight Champion, Romarin and maybe Rose Lover, there are hardly any plant monsters that benefit from being in the graveyard, let alone being destroyed themselves. While the BDR archetype is good at bringing out its nuke and then reviving it, it doesn't have any plays to extend on it afterwards. Leaving you with a wiped field and your 2400 ATK beatstick on the field, but nothing to prevent your enemy from recovering on the next turn. And that is partially due to not having many good out of archetype options to pair it with. But also, and I think that's also a very striking reason, because some of the in-archetype cards just don't do anything for the deck itself. Most notably, Blooming of the Darkest Rose and Frozen Rose. Frozen Rose again suffers from the fact that there just aren't many good plants that benefit from being destroyed/tributed. And Darkest Rose is.. just way too slow. In theory it is another way to recover BRD, because you can chain it in the graveyard to it's summoning effect, making it dodge its own destruction. But you need to have it in the graveyard first, it can't be the turn it was sent there and the on-field activation effect is also just... very mid and needs too much set up. Those 2 very mid cards basically nullify Red Roses secondary effect. So, aside from out of archetype plants with graveyard/destruction effects, I'd really like retrains (so they're searchable off of Red Rose) of these 2 cards. Bonus points if they also synergize with being blown up by BRD. It's insane that the archetype that revolves around deleting the field has so few cards that benefit from being destroyed in its arsenal.

@@xDarkestDemonx couldnt have put it better myself. I would’ve liked to see more main deck rose dragons that provide negation once BRD or a Rose Dragon synchro is on the field. It would defs put BRD as a rogue deck if it could consistently put negates on the board after nuking the field

We have to push Konami to make it I mean...for God's sake Leo has his own coherent ( albeit not extremely meta) wombo combo deck and yet Akiza doesn't really have one and poor Luna has NOTHING

To be fair, no one in the show were treated with any real justice, including Crow. The creators clearly favored Yusei and Jack, giving their monsters all the Super Saiyan forms, most wins and best scenes. I will say, Aki and Crow were done kinda dirty, Aki more so and the twins were almost completely irrelevant until the end. I do wish Aki dueled a lot more and she should have taken over for Yusei in at least 2 of the Tournament's duels and should have won as well.

​@@Netherwolf6100 Yusei and Jack were the main characters. It was normal they had more power and duels. Crow had too much duel. It was a problem because Aki and Luna had less duels and time. Leo was perfectly fine. In 5 Ds , unlike majority of Yu-Gi-Oh anime without all the main cast, the world was dead

The most heinous crimes against Aki and her potential for character growth and story potential is both how they dropped the Arcadia Movement and Psychic Duelists who had trouble with their powers like Aki for example one. That had HUGE story arc potential that could help Aki grow as a person when someone who was a die hard extremist in the movement tried picking up where Sayer left off and she had to confront the reality that Psychic duelist need someone to help them and accept them like she found in Yusei. Example two is simpler, but still deeply annoys me. The Team Duel against Team Unicorn. She seen Jack fall quickly against the first rider and despite her efforts she couldn't take down even one of them or weaken a second one for Yusei? NO, they made her lose and only able to get Stardust out for Yusei to 1 v 3 them all... The young woman who gave Yusei a hard time BOTH times they dueled was unable to defeat even ONE member of their team to help Yusei out?! I'm sorry, but they heavily nurfed her and did her skill level as a duelist dirty there and no one can change my mind.

If i remember correctly, the 2 Majestic Evolutions came about, because the Crimson Dragon bestowed extra Power onto Yusei and Jack, since they had Opponents with a deep running personel Connection to, that they wished to save from their Dark Signer fate. As long as the Carddesigners at Konami respect that, i find it doubtful that Akiza could get one for herself, which is a shame. But i could Imagine a Lvl 12 Bossmonster, utilizing Garden Rose Flora & BRD. Maybe it could be named something like "Hedgerow of Black Rose Dragon", to make it sound like base "BRD" had grown massivly.

Surprised that Rose Warrior of Revenge was not mention since not only does it have rose and revenge in it's name it also has the fire attribute tying it to Black Rose Dragon even more

Hmmm. Actually, now that I look at Blue Rose Dragon, she’s not a Bad card! Because - Point A: the Destruction effect can be achieved by So Many Cards on your own turn, that or by using Fire Kings! And Point B: the Card’s effect isn’t Restricted to just Black Rose, and it’s not Once per turn! Meaning you can abuse this effect multiple times to Special summon ANY Plant monster Multiple Times!

I fully agree. Akiza deserved a proper archetype and more Black Rose evolutions. Majestic Rose Dragon would be great, even if the Majestic archetype has begun locking itself to Stardust

For Malice thorn equip card you can use give and take to summon Ra s deciple on ur opponents side and then just wail on it while he can't use it or any monster to special summon
