i've tried it, and it's exremely bricky, i'd draw hands with 1 phantazmay, effect veiler, and ash. in a deck relying on a good hand i'd run 3 phantazmay, 3 effect, and 2 ghost ogre/ ash blossom at most

​@@wesleyvanoerle That'd be some nice tech, but it requires your opponent have a face-up monster and would benefit them if they also have multiple copies of their choosing. It's one of the main reasons Machine Dupe is preferred. On the other hand, it is a 2nd turn deck to begin with if OTKing is the strategy. Sadly, having 3 extra Machine Dupes would probably ruin consistency. Remember that you can only use said card once unless you recycle your OG Cyber Dragons back into the deck often. [Then again, everything in GY is treated as "Cyber Dragon", so it is better that it's not restricted to Deck.]

It is a soft once per turn. Meaning that you can use it once for each copy of it. So having two CDIs in your ED allows you to rank up twice. It only has soft once per turns as well.

No, it's a hard once per turn. If it were a soft were per turn, it would say, "you can xyz summon this card". But it has the name, "Cyber Dragon Infinity" regarding it's summoning, meaning that you can only summon 1 infinity per turn. So at this point you're arguing that you don't know the rules.

Quick note TSX1 as someone that also played CyDra's at the Brooklyn regionals this past Sunday: cut Borreload for Cyber Eternity. I cant tell you how underappreciated Cyber Eternity is as a win condition, also cut Nachster down to 2 and Galaxy Soldier to 2. It's very rare that you actually want to see the 3rd Nachster or the 3rd Galaxy Soldier. Run One for One and another card of your choosing

Are you sure Overload is not good enough? It can be an extender (use rampage to overlay), it can help you do an extra search with Herz , it can help you OTK, it can help you blow 2 or 3 back row if needed, it can help you waste your opponent's resources, or make them waste their resources and then finish them with Overload. I think it's a one of at least in the deck. I personally play 2 because It's always a good card. I wouldn't play 3 cause it might brick, but with 2, you can even activate it twice on that turn.

Had nats yesterday and went with CyDra. In the end I placed 14th out of 50 with the record of 4-2 (4 wins, 2 loses) and got an invitation to WCQ: European Championship. CyDra was a really strong match-up in my nats. Unfortunately I wasn't up against decks I had sided the most strongly against like Salad, Orcust, Endymion and Mystic Burn.

I test against Cyber Dragon all the time so my friend must be doing something wrong since I almost never lose even when everything goes his way. He lets me go first and therefore I can set up preparations to stop his plays, meaning I don't have to worry about his OTKs. Racoon definitely helps though.

I have an honest question regarding this deck: I have seen a lot of lists not playing Called by the Grave - why not? Seems strange to me that the deck has such a big power play with Machine Dupe that if you opponent uses Ash on you, that sucks. So why not have Called by to stop that?

I'm guessing cause you can make fortress with the sky striker link monsters since they are machine monsters. Can use orchust machines as fusion material as well. Also insanely great for the mirror match. Jizukiru probably got cut to make room for the Nachsters

It's probably more because of all of the hand traps (he's playing 11 of them afterall). Nachster can definitely be cut to 2 for Jizukiru though, Nachster's more of a 1 or 2 of in my opinion. It's very searchable and you don't really want to see it in your opening hand because it can contribute to bricks and it restricts your extra deck plays. Nachster really shines in the mid to late game because it can revive all of your boss monsters.
