HEY SAM! I got another thing for this deck that makes it OTK his name is Shooting Star Dragon. With Risen Dragite you can open the field up to direct attacks And Shooting star as you should know. Excavates 5 And for all tuners excavated. He can attack that many times (Field spell moves up to 5 to the top of deck). Now that is just amazing! Edit: almost forgot, the field spell isn't a hard once per turn so... you can use 1 field to help bounce 5 with Risen Dragite and then use another for Shooting Star ^-^

A few hours ago I tried the majority monster version Sam was using here and that really does seem to be the way to play the deck. Until more supports come out... I'm afraid a FULL rock deck is required for consistency. (I haven't answered your question soo... switch to your preference ^-^).

I tried the deck on ygopro last month. Excavating mechanic seems sketchy but you excavate so much that it fix your hand. Your tuner are your combo starters. It is not even a problem if they get negated, you just can go into needlefiber and use another from the deck and continue your plays

I'm sure that these are not the combos that they will eventually be used in the competitive version of the deck as they are based on they luckiest excavations. I think that players would try to find ways to adapt in the bad excavations and combo off despite them

I really disagree with 1 laputite. You WANT to open that card because it changes your strategy from luck-sack to stack your deck. It’s absolutely crucial in setting up your end board and when you’re going second it guarantees you bounce 5 of your oppenent’s monsters. The 500 attack boost is incredible too! Field spell is definitely a 3 of in my opinion

Sam, going through the extra deck: and remember guys, we are in master rules 5, so... Me: alright, as cool as some of the popular cards are, it's nice to see a deck that doesn't use a million copies of lightsworns, or ash, or even a... Sam: Needlefiber. Also, unlike usual, I do quite like the deck the way it is, for the most part. I of course side decked, but other than that, I made a single change to the main deck, being the removal of sentry of stone. I really just didn't see a place for it, as it was level three, so it didn't work well at all with synchros other than naturia beast. And I understand, naturia beast is broken. It stops friggin everything. However, when I go into it, it can often kill my plays. between a tuner and a level four or a tuner and a level three, I would rather go into raptite and then go into crystal wing. Crystal wing is, in my opinion, a lot better than beast. I would consider putting the sentry and beast in the side deck, but there is only room for 15 cards and I enjoy the cards I have in it now. It was an extra rock monster that could bring itself back, so it worked with links, but I can often go into massive plays without a huge play on the links, and on top of that, when I did use links, I could pull it off nearly just as easily without sentry. Since he didn't make a massive impact, I removed him and put in his place koa'ki Meiru overload. I like him, because he works just like guardian, but can stop a summon, so like a free solemn for rock decks. On top of that, he is a level four rock, so he can be special summoned by the adamancipator effects, as well as be used for the synchro plays. Overall, besides that change, I think this is the fewest changes I've ever made to a deck profile. Cudos to you, Sam. After quite a bit of playtesting, I have found the most consistent end board is a crystal wing synchro, a dragite, a gallant granite, and usually one or two other rocks, often a koa'ki Meiru guardian or overload, which is not bad at all. I usually win next turn, the biggest counter, which is unfortunate, is zombie world. Zombie world destroys a lot of plays. Usually I can still play if I go first, and sometimes I get lucky and can pull a win turn two, but usually zombie world means scoop.

Hey sam! If you use Catapult Zone along with block dragon then your monsters will never leave the field. Block dragon protects from card effects and catapult zone sends a rock from deck to GY (foolish burial) to protect from battle!

Played the archtype on ygopro and got a little experience with them. There are some things you can do to make the deck better. 1. Try to sneak another block dragon in there. That card can very easily plus you if it ever hits the field. 2. I also run three of those Koaki rocks that negate monster effects (save my hide countless of times), but you can also run the other Koaki monsters on your side against certain match ups. There's one that negate spells, and there's one that can negate traps. Really handy to keep around. 3. I run three of field spell and it always benefit me when I use it. Not only it'll guantee you a good 'dig', but you can also place whatever you need on top of the deck. It's also good for cycling out cards you don't need. Once the monsters are done digging, you can place what you don't need to draw to the bottom of the deck. 4. The blue rock is a straight up plus and should always be ran at three (your boss monster also gets a negate when it's in the graveyard), but the red and green I find to be very situational. There's some sneaky plays with the red synchro monster with the red rock in the graveyard, such as using it's quick effect to revive a negator during my opponent's turn, but this rarely comes up. I would keep one of each in the deck and replace the other two with tech cards.

I like the new deck profile. The new cards are impressive as well. However, if one was to build an entire deck profile using individual cards, the deck itself would be very expensive to build due to 2 short printed cards ( Researcher and Risen Leonite). 3x copies of Researcher can run between $120-150, depending on what seller you are buying from. Really awesome deck profile though.

But if you don't open right wouldn't it be good to have a second copy of each and also go for lvl 6 Xyz or level 8 xyz? Or just Abyss Dweller or bagooska? For more negates? And i am also seeing builds that play multiple copies for the fieldspell to make sure you have always the right stone one top of your deck.

Guys main deck Summon limit, Skill drain, Dark ruler no more, Nibiru, kaiju’s, sphere mode, lava golem etc.. or summon anything that cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects. I know Dragun is not out in TCG but I always crush these types of synchro/tuner decks. I use Dragun, invoked and trickstar engine. Pretty much wrecks everything.
