Hi Paepp! Love your videos and deck ideas. I was wondering, would you say this is the best version of Immortal Phoenix Gearfried one can play? Or is your E. Hero one from a couple months ago better? Also, have you made any changes to the E. Hero version?

Thanks so much, man! Mhmm, I would not say this is the best one, but now that you made me think about it, I can’t tell you as I did not play the other versions in a while (so didn’t face the current meta) 🤔 Like, for example, playing the pure warrior version with silent swordsman could be super good now taking into account sky strikers, while heroes give that version more power 🤓 Not to mention the suship version, that can brick maybe but it gives you access to draws and special summons 🤔 Nope, no changes to the hero versions, I would probably play it after I reach kog and see how the chain thing affected the plays 🤓

@@Paepp Thanks for the reply man! Immortal Phoenix Gearfried is probably my favourite card, so i've tried many different versions of decklists. And somehow, i'm always coming back to your videos :DD Really loved your silent swordsman version btw 👍👍 Ultimately, my most comfortable version is simply using igknights for search with Rescue Rabbit for rank 4 Xyz plays. Purely because i dont like sublimation knight, as outside of summoning herald, its mostly a useless card. However, i feel like igknight version is pretty weak, especially compared to your E.Hero version and quite possibly both Suship and Sauge the Fleur. I still need to finish building the E.Hero version though, it might just become my favourite way to play Gearfried. Either way man, you make great decks 😁

I've been playing around with this deck and I found some spice you might want to try. Since Lefty and Righty can also summon lvl 3 synchro monsters, it means their toolbox is a lot more versatile. Mist Brid gives you a monster negate that also reduces atk to 0, Tatsunoko lets you summon a lvl 6 Synchro monster using Sublimation Knight in hand like Coral Dragon or Brionac, Sorrowcat lets you return Herald to the extra deck and since it summons itself from the grave it can be used as link material.
