I think keeping it as a Spellcaster deck is a good idea. You could always reincarnate one of the Mystical Sands and hopefully get some stronger monsters or maybe even a Yami field spell. Boo Koo is just too funny of a Deck Leader to pass up on.

Hey man, thanks for the comment!! At this point after a lot of thinking and consideration, it makes sense to do one of two things I think - either we convert the deck to majority winged beasts, with Boo Koos included to power up spirit of the books. Or Hybrid it to run Spirit of the Books with Boo Koo support, and use a spellcaster deck leader (for same type friendlies support, since Spirit of the Books will gain a ton of boost from Boo Koo), and run Yami, basically giving us strength on multiple field types as well. I am definitely thinking spellcasters and a spellcaster DL together with Spirit of the Books is too fun a prospect to ignore lol

Haha thanks man!! Yea I figured we desperately needed to get some cards in the deck that at least offered us 2000 or more in either attack and defence. And of course Celtic Guardian is super for bring out dark elf. So added those cards that we grinded to the deck at least gives us monsters that are able to hold their own if you play patiently. Glad I was able to surprise you at the very least! 😁😁

Haha well I'm happy to share man!! Its knowledge that I only gained quite recently as well.. I never thought to put a ps1 memory card in my ps2 when growing up and playing it, so never discovered that. And of course we didn't get pocketstations outside of Japan so Definitely had no idea about that! Really cool little implementations that unfortunately most players never discovered. It really helps this deck that Celtic Guardian works as an elf for that fusion, because of all the low powered Dark Spellcasters we have. I speak under correction, but I think the Japanese name for Celtic Guardian directly translates to Elf Guardian or something similar? The Elf part got changed in the English localization. I could be wrong though lol

Haha they are cool yea without a doubt, and they do make the absolute cutest deck leaders, I just always find myself wanting the maximum bonus from the Same Type Friendly Boost so I always tend to lean towards 5 stars or above because of that 🤣 low level leaders just end up feeling underpowered to me as a result of that. I know they get their own unique abilities to compensate for that, but they just never seem as worth it to me as the raw power increase when Same Type Friendly boost is available.. if only low level deck leaders also gave a 500 point boost that would be awesome!

Hahaha oh yes I didn't even think of that!! Possibly that will have to be the next playthrough? Doggo themed deck in honor of my good girl doggo 😁😁 I'm so into that idea, they would both be awesome deck leaders for that and I love the design of beasts.. Definitely one for the future!! Thank you so much man!! As always, I appreciate you watching and all the support =) the deck Definitely feels better now, we're at least able to stand up to what is being summoned against us, and with some strategic play we're able to gain victory as proven against Tea today. Gotta start somewhere and it felt good to get that first win at least, definitely felt the improvement that the new cards gave the deck.. Only gonna get tougher from there though! And happy to keep uploading of course! It's been tons of fun 😁

A rock type deck would be cool. Mystical sand is a cool card for a leader, and it would still be challenging because I’m not sure rock types are that op

Hey man, thanks for the suggestion!! Haven't really looked into rock cards too much, gonna have a look at them in a bit and see what kind of options they have. You've made me realise i don't know too much about rock, I feel like its a fairly underused type. Definitely a unique choice without a doubt!! I was also thinking it would probably suit the challenge to try and fit Boo Koo in and keep him in the deck which could be fun, like make the currently useless card useful haha.. so many options to choose from, super difficult to settle on one! 😋

I think dark witch is the way to go for the deck maybe try to grind some black pendent to level it up more and la moon will also be a good card, u can grind form teà to get more bright castles and battle your self to get more book of secret art.. idk about deck leaders but I think la moon would be a great deck leader if you stay with a spellcaster deck

Hey man, thanks for watching and for the comment of course!! I like the idea of Fairies of course, Dark witch is definitely my favourite choice for a Fairy deck leader. I would of course grind for those cards if I had the option to, but in the Redux Mod, and equip cards of 500 or more are not available in the slots unfortunately, they're only available through reincarnation. So Bright Castle and Black Pendant are not slot obtainable, so can't gain them that way sadly :( i do definitely like the look of La Moon if we do go the spellcaster route, I agree with you on that!! Great looking card and would give us the maximum benefit from Leader Abilities. I am thinking to definitely keep Boo Koo in the deck anyway, because the challenge is so themed around him, and to include Spirit of the Books so that we can make Boo Koo super useful haha. So many options, hope we make the right choice in the end lol!!

It’d be nice to have a Dark deck with lots of spellcasters and fiends, do you think Boo Koo will have a useful leader ability? Or any ability at all?

Hey man, thanks for commenting! So Boo Koo will receive a same type friendlies boost (+200) and extended support range, as well as extended range boost. He will also receive change terrain (to dark) because he is a low level deck leader. I do think it would be better to run a 5 star or above Deck Leader if we go with Spellcasters in the deck, because then they would gain the maximum Same Type Friendly Boost (+500). Then I was thinking of keeping Boo Koo in the Deck, in order to Turbo Spirit of the Books onto the field, which would gain boosts from Boo Koo, and run that alongside boosted spellcasters, as a bit of a hybrid deck between those two. That way we keep Boo Koo as a core part of the deck, while being able to switch in a more efficient deck leader

Yea thats exactly what I've been thinking. Adding Spirit of the Books to the deck will really make the deck come alive I think! That way we can keep Boo Koo for the power boost, and as fusion material for Spirit of the Books if we add some Winged Beasts to the deck. Its then a matter of deciding if it would be best to create a Winged Beast deck that contains Boo Koo, or A hybrid Spellcaster deck that turbos Spirit of the Books and contains strong spellcasters that boost with terrain and equip cards

Yea man I'm torn between both, Either pure Winged Beast or Hybrid seem like the best and most fun routes to go. Winged beast gives our Deck Leader Movement Speed Boost which is lots of fun, but a spellcaster deck leader will give us a power boost to any spellcasters we run, which would be a ton of fun too, alongside a constantly strengthening spirit of the books from those Boo Koo effects. I dunno man, either way we can't go wrong i think!
