Rewatching the end of this, I never mentioned something interesting. The reason I never yelled and my freak out was so quiet was because I just moved into that apartment and it was like 3 in the morning. I didn't know whether or not the sound would bleed through the walls and I didn't want to get a complaint, so I kept it down.

If anyone is interested in keeping up with the current best times of this game, feel free to visit the leaderboards! You can access them here: speedrun.com/yugiohfm However, since this video was posted, new things have been discovered. This video is of a run that does NOT use the new RNG manipulation strategy. At the time of writing this comment, the world record USING RNG manipulation is 1:23:32. The world record NOT using RNG manipulation is 3:15:05. This video is still the 2nd best time in the world that does not manipulate the RNG.

We tried to find thunder and dragon cards, to make twin headed thunder dragon, and equip it with beast fangs and use Umi, or Mountain to energize it. Congratulations! I didn't think it was possible to beat the game in 3:20:00, I thought it would take at least 10 hours :)

This game is so great and nostalgic for me, i can't believe how alive it still is, the only problem i have with it, is the lack of varierty, i feel like the only way to play is to make thunder dragons, farm meteors and stuff, that's what keep me from getting back to it. But man how i LOVED this game as a kid.
@Apalapan978 жыл бұрын
Even though RNG plays a huge part in this run, it's amazing how you kept your cool and seemed to perform the fusions without even thinking. If I were in such a WR pace, I would've certainly messed up a critical fusion at some point. Congratz bro, on your skills, on your record, and on that Shadow Wall save :P

Hello Guys, happy to see guys playing this game today. I am getting good cards as I read in tipps, low meadow mage gave me after 100 duels 3 Meteor B Dragon, many dark magicians and gaia. after 150 duels I got 2 curse dragons and 1 skull knight. I got some good trap cards from Pegasus and Mai by S-Tec them by letting them fusion once and waiting the duel to end in them having 0 drawcards first. My point is I need equipment cards, but I dont know how. I dont want to cheat (not even the memory card copy stuff) , do you know who drops equipment cards and how I have to duel him? I cant finish the game right now without having some powering up equipment cards

How would rank the priority of monster types especially in early game? For example, low-tier being "replace without thinking twice", like maybe fiends? or does it depend on the other types you also have, like if you have enough elves, is it worth keeping the fiends, you know stuff like that. I hope i'm not confusing you lol. Just trying to understand some of the thought process and decisions.
@GFC_FM8 жыл бұрын
I know what you're saying. Basically, fiends, bugs, beast-warriors, fish, winged-beasts (small ones like Kurama) and reptiles are almost instantly replaced. The order in which I take them out USUALLY won't matter. But say I have a Fungi of the Musk as one of my fiends. That card fuses with any other fiend to make Darkworld Thorns, which is a plant. For that reason, when I'm slowly purging my deck of fiends, I will take Fungi out last. Basically, I remove those card types first, and I remove the lowest attack point cards OF those types first (provided they do no fusions with the rest of my cards).
@JadeIsBunny8 жыл бұрын
That makes sense. Thanks for explaining. I figured that categorizing it that way and memorizing some exceptions is the most efficient, or at least sufficient method. Though i think fish have some redeeming qualities, even if it's just for that 1200-1350 fusions early game lol.

For people looking to get rare cards: -Mountain from Rex -Widespread Ruin from Isis -Umi from Pegasus -Dragon Treasure from Pegasus
@GFC_FM6 жыл бұрын
Bogdan Cvetkovic Dragon Treasure and Umi both drop from Isis as well, so it's best to just farm her. Remember to get the BCD ranks or else you can't win them, though!
@Clarke23166 жыл бұрын
GFC_ what’s the best way? Always have to hope they use 2 cards in one turn
@GFC_FM6 жыл бұрын
You're thinking of S or A-TEC ranks. I'm talking about just getting a normal B rank on Isis. End the duel with less than 28 cards left (so 27 or less) and do a few fusions. If you can't fuse enough times (I wanna say it's 4 times), you can replace that requirement by using one magic, trap, or equip card. Now, if you want the BEST shot at getting super good cards, you want to do A-TECs. These are those duels where you used to have to deck out Pegasus (hence what you were talking about). However, that's a very old method. We've developed much quicker and 100% consistent ways of getting A-TECs. Check my channel videos. I have a tutorial on how to do fast A-TECs there. If you have any more questions, let me or anyone in the community know.

@alexdon600 Жыл бұрын
That's because you can choose to fight seto the 2nd after beating any two high mages. This way it's final 6 not 7 , thus skipping labyrinth mage, going straight into the secret passage, right to sebek and neku
