I’d love all Fossil cards because I love the whole deck. The Arcana Force that wipes your field could be good in decks like BA or Kozmo to trigger their floating effects but it’s a luck based card which makes it inherently bad unfortunately

9:12 Brain Dragon's effect is what we Magic: The Gathering players call a Brainstorm effect, and in Mtg is an amazing effect with little to no downside due to the enormous amount of shuffle effects we have, even down to our lands.

Also interesting fact! Dark Guardian MAY see it's "official" debut outside of the anime via Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links. Anime card Ojamandala was recently added to the game a few months back, and the Paradox Bros. actually have voice lines for Dark Element as well as Dark Guardian; which is really cool to think about the possibility of bringing them to the game!

People are willing to use 4 different monsters for Skulldead to draw 4, put back 3. So that Dragon would be good depending on how easy it is to summon. Though it's effect being in the draw phase hurts it.

Honestly even tho most of these are pretty bad when it comes to effects, I really like the design of some of these monsters so I hope one day they'll see the light of day in the OCG/TCG. Brain Dragon is actually kinda neat. Yes, you have to put 2 cards back (on the top of your deck too :/), BUT but you can put back dead draws and shape your hand in the way that you want. It's quite similar to a Link 4 monster we have in the game called Saryuja Skull Dread which, when summoned using 4 materials, lets you draw 4 and put back any 3 cards in your hand on the bottom of the deck. Great vid! It's awesome seeing you analyse cards xD

Glad you enjoyed V! I hope my analysis was decent, even though I’m sure it was very base level! Yeah the design is really cool on a lot of these, Brain Dragon would be really interesting! And at least with Skull Dread, you put the dead draws on the bottom of the deck! The problem with Brain Dragon is if you put 2 bad cards at the top of your deck and then Brain Dragon gets destroyed.. You may be in trouble, since you can’t draw 3 cards anymore, and your next 2 draw phases will be the 2 cards you put back. But it’s an intriguing effect nonetheless!

Yeah but since you have to put the dead cards on top on your deck then you have to draw them again so you are only able to move ahead with one new card. So it would be hard to shape your hand in the way you want it unless you have a method of removing the top two cards from your deck to somewhere else.

Jim Crocodile Cook has these monsters as well and i think they are anime exclusive monsters and have never been printed and they are really strong. i look him up on wiki when you only had Fossil Machine Skull Convoy on the list. they also have some good effects as well:) Fossil Dragon Skullgios 3500-0 Fossil Warrior Skull King 2800-1300 Fossil Warrior Skull Knight 2400-1100 Fossil Dragon Skullgar 2500-0 Gaia Plate the Earth Giant 2800-1000 Great list anyway:) keep up the great work.

With duel links having leaked that Sartorius is coming as an unlockable character late march 2019 and ojamandala, an anime exclusive card already being ingame, I wonder if the hangman and the fiend could make an appearance there too. I think Brain Dragon would go good in a lightsworn deck drawing 3 cards lets you be sure you don't 1: draw a dead card like Wulf or Felis and 2: sets up your mills for that turn.

If brain dragon would be printed it would hit the banlist immediately because Malefic world allows you to add a Malefic card from your deck to your hand instead of drawing and since brain dragon allows 3 draws that's 3 searches and the 2 cards don't go back in the deck since you didn't perform a draw but a search. And also he's a level 8 which is a fantastic level for malefics since they're really good at making level 10 synchros and rank 8 xyz monsters

I don't see the combo. If memory serves, M.W. says that you can search a Malefic /instead/ of drawing during the DP, whereas Brain Dragon requires you to be able to draw to use its effect. So you'd be stuck in a game of "draw or search," since you couldn't do both

Brain Dragon would help alot for excavating achetypes or ones that need certain cards to accumulate resources or ones that don't want to draw certain cards. Stack the top with Sylvans or Lavals so you know what you excavate, Never draw into Garnet for Gem Knight or Wulf for Lightsworns, Get rid of spellbook organization entirely for Spellbooks, etc....

Just watched GX episode 16, but Ziggurat didn't feature in that episode. I'm actually recording the various summonings of the characters' Ace Monsters and Extra Deck monsters and I'm pretty sure I would have remembered him.

I feel like brain dragon could be useful for decks that mill monsters to trigger effects. Especially if there are spell and traps in the deck that don't trigger in the graveyard, you can keep those and then mill monsters.

Assault Canon Beetle isn’t once per turn, I’m sure if it got printed people would abuse it alongside Firewall Dragon for FTKs and it would eventually end up banned, just like Canon Soldier and Amazoness Archer.

with lair of darkness you could tribute your opponents monster for the assault cannon beetles effect plus since it isn't once per turn you could combo it with firewall dragon to just tribute the monster and bring out a new one and just burn your opponent to 0 with the right setup

@10:12 Three cards is HUGE, and you can select which one you keep in your hand. It's an amazing card, provided it can survive your opponent's turn, which isn't very likely. But if it does, you can choose from the three cards you add to your hand, which is amazing in the current format. You can choose a resource to add from three potential ones, allowing your combo plays to extend further, especially if it's the second or third card you pick up that you actually need. Just saying...

I just realized what Konami did with Brain Dragon's name.... Brain Dragon's effect is based on a card from Magic: the Gathering called Brainstorm, which lets the player draw 3 cards to put two from your hand back to into the deck, which can then be shuffled away by anything that searches the deck....there was a card made in Magic that allowed a player to Brainstorm every turn, and it was eventually banned in two constructed formats.
