@@neochungus3686 Agreed, though it did well enough to push his subscribers well over 100,000k mark. It’s sad to see nostalgia shilling is all that amounts to now as that feels like every card game nowadays. For me, if I wanted to experience older formats the video games are a much better way of doing it especially as the World Championship series is a time capsule of sorts to that era of Yu-Gi-Oh.

I love PROG, History and the other series you do. And by no means do I wish for them to go away, but I miss the competitive breakdowns, how-to, and so on videos that you and Sam used to do. I know others do them as well but you both explained them in I guess a much more straightforward and simplistic way rather than filling them with a character or jokes. And I appreciate that when all I'm trying to do is research a deck. Hope this stuff can find a way back onto your channel mate. And congrats again on the married life! Hope you're doing well!

I think the reason Tearlaments are so powerful is because they take some of the best effects in Magic and bring it to Yugioh. Mill effects and send to grave effects are already powerful in Magic, where your recursion is limited by the color you're playing, but bring that to Yugioh, where there is no resource management, it becomes insane when most modern decks have some form of incredibly powerful recursion and very powerful Extra Deck monsters that have no reason to be generic.
