You just need to hammer the base line of the combo over and over and you should be good for the base line of most combos!

I'm gonna talk about the monster zones from left to right, so 1-2-3-4-5 22:35 Instead of SS Archiver here, you can SS just Infra, link Excode + Infra to Firewall to zone 2, Parallel exceed SS to zone 1, puts another copy of itself up. From here link exceed in zone 1 to balelynx and put it in the left EMZ, Firewall's effect kicks off and lets you special summon Archiver from hand, Balelynx + Shooting Code to make Avramax in zone 3, Link Sea Archiver + exceed to make Splash Mage in zone 4, Sea Archiver's effect SS itself from grave, Splash Mage bring back dotscaper, link dotscaper to Talkback in the right EMZ, tribute Splash Mage for Excode, link Archiver to Balelynx to complete the Extra Link. This way you have both Firewall and Avramax. Edit: Reverse the zones, I tried to summon Firewall in Zone 4 but forgot that Shooting Code points to zone 2, should work all the same tho.

got to say great list honestly! most list don't include combos sense there so long and the same so thanks! also once we get heatsoul the strategy probably going to go to control style rather than the lock, but i guess we will have to wait and see.

I actually played with those on my latest list before this one and unfortunately at list with the salamagreat stuff it not that good because we don't have a fire code talker that is worth running yet... But honestly if it works for you go for it, experimenting and creativity are fun part in this game :)

For the second combo, weren’t you able to add the iblee off of code talkers special summon by transcode?

No, since cynet codec states at the start of the effect that the code talker monster need to be special summoned from the extra deck 🙃

What would you replace the Salamangreat/lock stuff with if you don't have it? I'm playing Master Duel and opened most of the URs (yay!), but I'm out of mats to craft the rest of the lock pieces lol

Do you have any tips on building the new reptile Abhyss deck. I have tried to make one with using venomnaga the Dity of Poisons snakes. But I failed to make it work properly.

Well venomnaga is a little problematic to use sense it needs a very specific summoning condition... But as I see it their 3 good route for the abyss: Lair of darkness because of the tributes, invoked sense light and dark and chaos same idea. You can put all of the engines together for them if you wish.. But it should be mentioned that you don't really need to run more then one of each of the big dudes. For the small ones you need 3 of each of the foolish ones and then one of the weird dark draw and discard searcher and for the spells and traps only lily is needed. So overall you just need about 15 archetype cards... Hopefully this is helpful!

One is for the search off the sanctuary and the other is to help lock the other side of the extra monster zone. You can see that in the combos, also it just the easiest and most generic link 1 for this deck :)

​@@1001011011010 If you get Raigeki'd the Balelynx in GY protects the one in EMZ, if you have Excode pointing to Talkback it protects the other EMZ.

You definitely can! The problem however that rises is the arrow problem that could happen sense accesscode help you being arrows like firewall. A good replacement could be link devotee, but honestly i just going to limit you a little :) Also accesscode probably will get a reprint in the 2021 megatins in September!

The problem with those is that they take out from the extra link and require a lot of set up from the extra deck which is already kind of full of cards you need. Out of all of those the only one that make sense is maybe tri-gate but even it requires set up...

So what options do you have? Secondly Gatchiri and eXceed are not a must their just the good cyberse extenders. If you have another wind extender for cyberse like defcon birs that could be a nice replacement. Also balancer lord is qhite good as well. Basically just find another cyberse wind extender so you will have another target except link ifra flyer. and the 2 other cards could be replaced with any other extenders you have in duelist link evolution. Hopefully that helped.

What are you supposed to do if your Dotscaper is in your starting hand? This whole combo kinda relies on that card being able to be sent from the deck to the GY so it can be special summoned to continue link summoning. Everyone takes Dotscaper x1 because "it's easy to search" but what if I draw it? The only thing I can think of is happening to have your one of One for One in hand as well.

Not really true i would say. Since that why you have so many other extenders that are earth that you can search. Plus you have ways to send it to grave like cynet mining. The combo doesn't really depend on the card and worst case just normal summon it if you can or need for the combo...

@@teamndlygo heads up, I’ve spoken to some really good Code Talker players and the consensus is that Shootingcode Talker is useless and a waste of an extra deck slot. Take Salad Spinny, Foxy, and Gazelle instead of water cyberse and use the extra deck slot for an extra copy of Code Talker or a Cyberse Wicckid. Still, your guide was very informative, so thank you!

@@teamndlygo yeah but even before it comes out, apparently salads can complete the U link combo just as easily without spending a whole splash mage and using up a slot in the extra deck for Shootingcode. Every guide on KZbin follows the same way you do it, but a new, more optimal way has been found and they will be considered staples when the new cards arrive. I don’t actually know how to do it (as you can see on my profile I did it the OG way) but I plan on learning it over the next few days. I might put out a guide if I git gud.

On the second combo, You summoned Balelynx using Parallel Exceed. That is not possible.

It is actually. Parallel Exceed count as a level 4 at that point due to it effect not as a level 8. So it is possible to summon balelynx, try that on edo pro or even master duel if you have the cards it will work.

I definitely agree... But let's be honest most people just want to win and fun is not enough for them. If you are playing with friends sure but against a random opponent people don't care. Not to mention that there are so many ways to play around this. This is just to lock the link mechanic for the opponent not the rest...
