So for those wondering: The only out of this lockdown is to finish Exodia on your first and only draw. The reasons are outlined below. 1. All S/T, Main Monster and the one free Extra Zone are blocked off, so no Spells, Traps or monsters can be activated, set or summoned, period. 2. Fog King the level 7 0/0 stops tributing, so no Kaiju, Sphere Mode or Lava Golem can be summoned. And no, you can't tribute Fog King to be rid of that effect. 3. Angel 07, the card on the far right, prevents monster effects from being activated, so no Eldlich or other monster hand effects are possible. Passive effects are unaffected. 4. Closed Forest, the field spell, prevents other field spells from being activated while it's on the board. So that zone is effectively locked too. 5. 8900 Attack Points on board. So oppo won't live long enough to discard to hand size.

Most of the time, activating spell or trap and setting monster does not help. You can still kill your opponent at your next turn unless they have any card that can end the battle phase.

First thing first brilliant absolutely brilliant. This is the most beautiful board I have ever seen. There are more efficient ways to beat your opponent, there are more resilient board states out there but I don’t think there is a better way to stop your opponent from playing the game. As much as I would Normally hate decks that play this way, I just can’t hate it’s beauty and brilliance. The fact that the opponent was willing to not only sit through this but to keep playing despite the board state. But I’m not sure which thing scares me more the fact that you were able to create this deck or the fact that you could do it with just a neo space connected and that’s it. You even shuffled the rest of your hand back into the deck just to prove it. Once again, brilliant work.
