man... 2002 to 2005 was a time to be alive as a kid playing yugioh during school and after. the anime in duelist kingdom to battle city episodes after school. everyone had cards, everyone was playing... internet wasn't a big thing yet, everyone was biking in the neighborhood to random people trading yugioh cards lol and random duals on concrete floors with no sleeves!!! man those were the times. espicially when foils were know as hollows or shinnies.. trades weren't for tcg prices and only for which card was stronger or if it was a foil lmfao miss those days.

They still go for like $30 per sealed. Not to mention, the millennium shield is still one of the greatest cards in yugioh history. Is actually several people's favorite card ever printed including Ruxin34. These definitely hold a special place in many fans hearts. And also makes many kids back then start to feel a little older lol. We're 30 now. The clock doesn't stop for anyone as we know. Very grateful to have been able to see the hobby from the very beginning. Appreciate you opening this. Best wishes going forward.

oh man, I remember getting these in 2002 and got the yamadron and stuffed animal from mine. Still have them to this day. That really was peak yugioh. I still remember teachers confiscating yugoh cards back in elementary school lmao.

I had so many of these when i was 11. I lived accross the street from a mcdonalds in south central los angeles and the ladies liked when i came in so they would hand me like 10 cds 🤣. i remember i had quite a few cosmo queens and millineum shields because of it
