Not necessarily trying to rip on you or anything Sam, but you can make a slightly better first turn board (imo) with that hand in your second duel. If you make Sieger instead of hyperstar and then summon sorceress with the Sieger and Soldier/Cyber Dragon, use her effect to summon the 3rd Soldier/Cyber Dragon from deck, then summon the other Soldier. Make Nova, use its effect to revive Cyber Dragon, then revive Sieger with the Revsystem. Now you can overlay Infinity and still have Soldier and Cyber Dragon for Pleiades. That way you end on a more protected Infinity due to Sieger's much bigger ATK boost, as well as Sorc being bigger than Hyperstar. The only downside is Pleiades not being as big, but I think protecting Infinity is overall better. Not trying to harp on your play, just thought I'd give a little bit of a bigger play.

He ended his turn with 0 cards in hand and a 2k eltanin, it was a miracle the gouki player didn't have an out with 4 cards in hand. Then he topdecks desires into core bond. In no way does this showcase the competitive viability of cyber dragons.

Firewall won't be banned, however it should get an errata. Honestly, if Firewall was changed to this effect, I'd be happy: 2+ monsters Once while face-up on the field (Quick Effect): You can target monsters on the field and/or GY up to the number of monsters co-linked to this card; return them to the hand. If a monster this card points to is destroyed (by battle or card effect): You can Special Summon 1 monster from your hand.

Gouki is Japanese. The "OU" diphthong is pronounced oh-ooh. Thus, the correct way to say it is "Go-oo-kee." (Rough phonetic example.) However, in Japanese, they often say the "U" sound very quickly which would make the work sound more like "Go-kee."

Jus lettin u guys know that ocg meta is changing . The ratio of top deck is 4 for sky striker 2.5 for thunder dragon 2.5 for altergeist and 1 for gouki . Gouki and other extra link decks are being weak bcuz of thunder dragons effect which is u can not bring cards from ur deck and some kind of resistence from destroy by battles or card effects . Also altergeist is being strong against thunder dragon

I've been considering building Cyber Dragons after the first set of support. It seems good in this format against Goukis the only problem being it doesn't have any protection (but it's an OTK deck after all so I can understand that).

I stopped playing after using constellar's quite a bit (around the time shadolls where just about to be released to be exact) no clue what link monster's even is. Felt like the game was getting too expensive and complicated, turns would start to take way too long to finish, games decided in two turns cause of the amount of plays that could happen in one turn. Guess I was right after seeing that first duel. Just glad to see one of my favorite decks can still OTK like a boss ^-^

I can only imagine Gouki's will get the trickstar treatment where it doesn't get touched, even though people are asking for the hit. What could get hit in Gouki's? Firewall (Konami's decision), Isolde ( probably wont since new knoble knight cards), any Gouki card ( might do something but I cant really say if it hurts the nightmare plays), maybe hit the nightmares ( that might be a more reasonable hit since it looks like any deck can do the extra like now). A few things can be done but it could just be a wasted effort depending on what does get hit.

Drei counts as Cyber Dragon so you can summon him to use mega fleet or summon Twin for FTK. Him and Vier are also an instant Infinity, Eltanin & Herz are also terrible.

I’ve been play testing for months I can count on 1 hand how many times I’ve lost 💯. It has all the support working for him & he makes Core easily accessible. If you haven’t already tested him you should, you won’t regret it 👌🏾, if you don’t win in less than 3 turns you can cut him.

Firewall actually isn't broken, they won't ban it because it makes many decks good. You have to have monsters in your hand. The problem is Gouki monsters hitting the field and searching another monster to summon, infinitely. Ban Mermaid so you can't cheat the first Firewall activation. Ban Gouki Re-Match so they can't recover+spam.

You should make an updated Armed Samurai Ben Kei OTK deck. Power of the Guardians, Hey Trunade, Noble Arms Clarent (lets a Warrior monster attack directly), and the Spellbook engine (x3 of Magician/Knowledge/Secrets) makes for a lot of fun.
