The card Cimo remembers is Szadek, Lord of Secrets, from the original Ravnica block. The first planeswalkers cards were still two standard rotations away!

@@wallyfarflinger He literally said it was Szadek after people pointed it out. But even without that, Consuming Aberration didn't come out until Gatecrash in 2013. The other cards he was mentioning were from Mirrodin block and he mentioned Dissension by name, which takes it back to the original Ravnica block. Dissension was 2006. Definitely not Consuming Aberration.

Well in a game where you have a creature that is like "when you play this creature, draw a card, deal 2 damage, heal 2 damage, also do all of this again everytime you attack with this creature" I'd say that "draw 2 cards" isn't as OP

As a sixSamurai Deck players in yugioh yeah sure in six samurai Deck we Didnt even need pot of greed like ever.. because our deck was built in pot of greed with counter everytime we summons SixSamurai.. But it was a treasure to include pot of greed since opens up first hand with more handraws was really helpfull.. 😁 we even consider to include draw strategy back when pot of greed was banned back in the day 😁 so not even sixsamurai deck underestimate pot of greed even tho our deck doesnt need it 😁☕

It's a draft against bots that seem not to know it's an omniscience draft. Everyone gets basically the same opportunity to build a deck stuffed full of card draw and counterspells.

Went 7-0 in this when I did it and just went card draw, counterspells, and big creatures. I only ever had to use my big creatures to win through damage twice as I countered their draw spells or drew so many cards that my opponents just quit. 😂

The yugioh community has a higher tolerance for extreme loudness. One of the largest yugioh KZbinrs is essentially a gen z appealing “everything is the best and I’m screaming about the anime” style channel so by comparison cimo is relatively chill. Even compared to channels like farfa or MBT I would consider Cimo slightly more chill if not much more.

Cimo does have really good fundamental understanding, but i feel he could have benefitted from some guidance of how degenerate ominicience drafts are and how matches play out. 1. Carddraw(draw 2+) is most important 2. counterspells so you at least have a chance of stopping the snowballs when you loose the dice roll. 3 wincons are not as important if you win the cardadvantage race and you can usually wheel some fatties anyway 4. removal is not as premium because 1 for 1 doesnt matter if you drawn 4-8 cards more than the opponent
