In this episode I attempt to make my opponent run out of cards. Once he runs out of cards I automatically win.

@FancyRenegade yeah totally, if you were to play this game "Power of Chaos", then there is like 750 cards roughly. You unlock 1 card if you win a match and you can unlock duplicates as well. Chances are you would probably never get all the cards and if you did you still wouldn't have enough duplicates of the cards you need more of. PC & cheating the cards in = Total win :)

Also apparently in THIS version I heard you can sometimes have the option to get 3 different cards if none of the cards you won are new, but I don't think that guarantees you new cards.

@FancyRenegade I was awful when I played this when I was younger, I think it helps to have all the cards unlocked in a game as it makes it easier to build strategies. When I was a young child I didn't have a lot of the cards which probably didn't help. If you can you should get a YuGiOh game for PC, then download a cheat that gets you all the cards. You'll be much better that way :)

Actually I haven't played THIS version, but in Kaiba I got the last card I didn't have a few weeks ago, and yeah if you want multiple copies of cards to make a perfect deck it could take a LONG time, but to me that's a reason to keep playing; to work towards getting the perfect deck. The cards you get for winning in the Kaiba and Yugi games are COMPLETELY random. You could have 10 copies of 1 card and still keep getting more copies of that card, even if there's cards you haven't gotten yet.

Actually this game you can only win about 350 different types of cards and the other 400 or so you have to win from the previous 2 games (without cheating). But you get 3 cards at a time if you win a match which is 2 out of 3 duels (in any version). I actually managed to get all 315 cards in the Kaiba the Revenge version legitly and yes you have to duel a whole lot, but it doesn't take "forever". I'm only missing about 5 in the Yugi The Destiny as well and there's 155 in that one.

Also if you want exact odds for if you only needed to win 1 more card out of 350 with average luck, you would need to win about 117 matches since 350/3 is about 117 and you get 3 cards per match. So yeah, not "forever" but a pretty long time.

But is it not closer to 1000 cards if you want duplicates? Also, after you have duplicates of most of the cards will it only give you cards from the list you haven't got yet? I was imagining it as a real life booster pack that you could buy tons of packs and get the vast majority yet miss out on a single card for a long time. Maybe the game doesn't work like that?

+Vel Debel Sorry, unfortunately I don't have this card list any more. Other than the cards shown in the video I don't know what all is in it. Taking a look at the video these are the unique cards I could see: Hiro's Shadow Scout Change of Heart Monster Reborn Needle Worm Morphing Jar The Shallow Grave Labyrinth Wall Raigeki Confiscation Magic Cylinder Harpie's Feather Duster Card Destruction Giant Soldier of Stone United we Stand Mirror Force Gravity Bind Pot of Greed Aqua Matador Mystical Elf I didn't have everything I wanted so there are a few obvious removals that could be done. Multiple copies of a lot of these cards help towards the 40 total. Plus some cards wouldn't be allowed in competitive play so you will have to swap those out. Probably a good idea looking at some "mill deck" lists and getting some ideas from those.

Thanks for your support! I have been quite a bit busier over the past year and will be busy in the coming year (in between that time and the last time I made videos I have no excuses haha). There are a lot of things I want to do including making videos again (videos are quite low in terms of priority, however). Making better use of my time is the biggest barrier, but I think I can get better with this. I do have some old videos from 1-2 years ago that are waiting to be uploaded but I don't want to start again only to stop. I will endeavor to get back into making videos :)
