I know that the card can pull apart whole decks depending on what the strategy is, and as it’s quite powerful to stop most anything, could this help for Crystal players as if it declares a beast, the whole deck collapses with it under normal circumstances?

i was thinking about this card the other day, not sure how it works against maxx C , u activate this by declaring a card name, you call Maxx C, can the opponent chain Maxx C to this?

I don't think they can since you declare the card name at activation

They can chain it since Prohibition has to resolve in order to be "on"

you're still forcing the maxx "c" this way. Meaning that you rather have your opponent chain it to this than any effect that special summons a monster. If you don't intend to play into maxx "c", you made your opponent -1 for nothing and he can't activate his other 2 if he draws into it as long as prohibition is on the field. It might not be the best way to stop maxx "c" but it can stop so much more cards than it!

@@jeremyranger4260 yeah this is true, Prohibition is definitely better as a side deck because it can completely shut down entire decks (just ban the cards Konami can't)
