Zexal was a charming Yu-Gi-Oh! series, it was a series that did start off slow but got better as it went on and Utopia is one of my favorite duel monsters. I even liked Yuma, he’s not as bad as people make him out to be. But Anna is my favorite character from that series, despite her unfortunately limited screen time, she was a joy to watch.

This was my first Yugioh and it will always have a special place in my heart. It will always be favourite, Yuma is my favourite protagonist but Kite is my favourite Yugioh character of all time and Utopia is my favourite monster.

Kaito, during the Barian invasion arc when he's against Mizeal, he is the only duelist I believe to have died whilst winning a duel. Edit: What a fucking Legend!

Zexal was the ygo series that got me back into the franchise when it started airing. I hadn't kept up with anything after my parents got a divorce. That was around the time gx was airing. I'd seen bits of 5ds, but zexal is what got me re obsessed with the anime. I watched all the episodes while it aired. I started doing tournaments because of zexal. It holds a special place in my heart and I'm happy it's getting so much love lately.

Growing up with the og gang, I have grown to love every series eventually since. I must admit Zexal took me a bit to get used to the new characters. I Just grew to love the really good character development even though it got slow at times. Cards were interesting, the XYZ summing mechanic was fun and not overpowered compared to pendulum. Fun villains as well and a well engaging world.

You notice for Zexal that every character was told to raise their voice up every episode. It’s sucks cause you realize how good all these actors are but are given such poor voice direction. But they pretty much gave it their all the whole way through even though 4kids was going through bankruptcy at the time(and Konami trying to can 4kids)

If not for zexal id have never gotten into this series as much as I did. I remember being a kid and getting 1-2 star packs from the Dollar General any time I had $3-6 on me from doing chores. And because of those packs I have so many Starfoil rarity Utopias that I legit just throw them into any deck I have with lvl 4s at this point lol

I am happy to see so much Zexal (ZEAL) love. It was clearly marketed to younger kids to get them into the game, 5Ds was marketed to the older crowd. Hearing all your childhood connections means Konami did a good job sadly. Vrains and following isnt catching the younger audiences as well. Konami really needs to focus on the new generations. PKMN does it right.

​@@nebbynetwork2089The issue is unlike Japan, Westerners don't nearly buy as much sealed product in bulk. That's why you see so much Speed Duel product like in grocery store shelves. If they imported Rush Duel over here it would just be a rehash of what happened to Speed Duel. That's why they had to test the ground with Duel Links but even that isn't really proving fruitful. Seems like they're going the route of reprinting older legacy yugioh sets (LOB, Metal Raiders, GX Light of Destruction) instead.

Zexal and Five Ds were always my favorite. Yuma was probably the only protagonist alongside jade that didnt have a dragon as an ace monster. Nope yugi doesnt count. He had the mystical dragon along with Slifer for a while.

Hello! I’m interested in something about Yu-Gi-Oh! (Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters) series. This series was also shown in Slovene a few years ago in Slovenia (on TV). Now it cannot be obtained anywhere, except in the archives of the company that dubbed it into Slovene (Pro Plus d.o.o.). Unfortunately, I can’t get it from them as they don’t have copyright for it and they aren't allowed to give it to me. Is it possible to upload the series to the official Slovenian Yu-Gi-Oh! KZbin channel? I hope it is possible, because I would be very happy to watch this amazing series in Slovenian. Sincerely
