It’s important to note that Magicians’ Souls can send equipped pieces. When I first messed with this when it first came out barrage was still at 3 so I had an additional source to send off souls but you can run a field spell package instead with set rotation.

This helped alot figuring out my ratios for the ABC pieces I'm running gadget engine instead of tuners but only becuz I'm playing budget I have halq but no tactics so I need unauthorized activation and gadgets to help play thru handtraps also this isnt one of my main decks so I haven't shelled out for the orbital but I figured a good budget option would be trans modify. Big fan of your build super competitive if I were working on it as hard as I am my main decks I'd run a similar build for sure. Keep it up broski

2 Ghost Ogre 3 Effect Veiler 3 Gamma + 1 Driver 3 Forbidden Chalice They're also all lights to discard with Galaxy Soldier. And if you dont wanna pick up Dragoon package, just replace the red-eyes package with Unauthorized Reactivation and replace one of the Chalices with a second Union Driver. Any piece plus Unauthorized Reactivation is the same Buster + Infinity board as the Union Hangar combo. And tuner extender + piece + Unauthorized Reactivation is Buster + Infinity + I:P. If you don't want to run the tuner/Noodle package, there's always 2x2 Gold/Silver Gadgets, 3 Frontline Base, or Photon Thrasher + RotA as extenders, along with various pros/cons for each. There's definitely budget options, my friend. As long as you still have the core combo (and yes, that means investing in a Photon Orbital), you can still play this deck fairly competitively on a budget. About $150 invested can still get you a local-topping deck.

i beat a dragoons the otherday by negating its effect and destroyed it with infinity with A- attached to it. cant negate infinity if its immune to monster effects! unauthorized reactivation got me there before they brought out their dragoon. very clutch
