This deck profile doesnt have much spell/trap protection Use dark sacrifice or field barrier to keep spell mining cave on the field when playing vs players that have twin twisters, mst or the like, they're likely better then dark bribe

You can play Mystic Mine on the first turn if you draw Field Barrier with it. Spells can’t be destroyed so it keeps it on there. And you can just keep it like that because your opponent is gonna have to summon a monster eventually. To all already a FTK. Even if you don’t have Field Barrier, you can still play Mystic Mine on your first turn. If you have Left Arm Offering on there. You can activate spells right away. Or set cards until you’re down to 2 cards and play Card of Demise. You can play Terraforming in turn 1 too. And set it. If you have the field barrier, left arm offering or pot of duality. Just not Pot of Extravagance of course It’s very easy to win with a deck like this... made my my improvements of course...

So what I learned from this deck is to edit my own burn deck, I should add mystic mine and possibly wave motion. I don't use duality anymore, I found it's a better combo to use desires and soul absorption (also use extravagance). I currently play a chain strike, double threatening roar, double blazing mirror force and a waboku.

This seems like a super consistent deck which is very scary. But I feel like the burn damage is very little (besides WMC). But Im thinking making a Mystic Mine/ Nurse Burn. Nurse burns deal an insane amount of damage with gift cards + Path of Radiance, ect. Gonna have to try it out in Ygopro before building though

Take out 1 trio add 2 dou take out duality 3 balance of judgement. If I end up going first most time I get Denise and balance same time and at least one ojama. Search for meta verse on your opponent turn draw between 5-10 cards. Win your turn.

I have been using a very similar deck for a week now and I've noticed that some naturia monsters hurt this a lot since they don't let you activate spells/traps. I suggest running either lava golem or kaijus to get rid of those monsters

One of the outs are is that the burn player sets all face downs without activating mystic cave on their first turn, then when you begin you have to normal summon denko to prevent metaverse or demise of the land from activating.

To be honest you could put cyber dragons in there for the chrimeratechs. And get rid of there extra deck monsters. Bc he special summons when they control monsters and you don’t. So if they have a fully set board and you SS cyber dragon and get rid of one of the extra deck monster cards you’ll have 1 body on the field plus the mystic mine ( if you can get it out). So then the couldnt attack or do anything and you can just hit the lower level monster out and then your burn damage will come in putting you in a better spot for next turn

Agreed, but Lava Golem can brick if you resolve Mystic Mine when your opponent only has 1 monster on the board. Dark Room of Nightmare is a good card, but probably won't be as effective as Just Desserts or any of the other burn traps in this deck.

Sam... If you're going first, you Activate Mystic Mine and Summon Lilith. Once your opponent summons ANY monster other than a Kaiju you tribute Lilith during their turn and you now have the mine affecting only your opponent. THAT is how Terraforming works going first. Literally the ONLY strategy that doesn't work on is the mirror match.

Most decks can spit out 3+ negates turn one just negate that trap to activate fields and the field itself when they go second. Three times i played a guy during sneak peek with almost the same deck ( he only used 2 extravigance and 3 wave motion) him going first i lost when i went first i won but i knew what needed to be stopped and negated them. First duel i used Danger TD, 2nd was my salads and 3rd endymion magicians

Now we only need a deck that can reliably win by decking out your opponent and we'll finally have balance in this game again. Seriously tho, I understand that variety kills competitive play, but I just love it. I't makes me sad when everybody knows which 2 or 3 decks will be seen and every single deck is built around having answers for them. If more game styles like discard, burn and deckout were viable instead of the always prevalent board presence and card advantage, this game wouldn't feel so stale. I'm so happy for this card and this deck, even if people call it degenerate or unfair, and although it's really sad that the only way of making burn viable is completely locking down your opponent, I'd rather have that than not having burn as an option at all. Now everybody has to prepare an out for burn and field spells, and I hope soon more contenders will enter the scene until anything is viable because no deck could possibly have an answer for everything.

It’s funny: I’ve come to the sort-of realization that Mystic Mining is basically a Monster version of Secret Village of the Spellcasters. The first two effects read and interact similarly - with subtle nuances. And the last line of text, I suppose, was meant to balance it, unlike the former, but at the end of the day, what separates the two is that the Conditions for its usage are too generic. They should have never printed this card. Maybe if it were Type and/or Archetype specific it would be fine, but as it now, it exists to enable oppressive, non-interactive and unfair gameplay.

There are plenty of ways to protect it. Solemn Judgment, Dark Bribe, Cursed Seal of The Forbidden Spell. Albeit, the best method of protecting it hasn’t been released yet and exists exclusively in the OCG for now - it’s a normal trap card that negates destruction. Don’t underestimate the fact that you need to A: actually open with the answers to kill Mining, B: Dedicate 6-9 slots in the Main/Side that would prohibit your ability to side more uniformly; C: Win the Die Roll so that those answers can be used most efficiently; and D: Lest we forget, deal with fact that almost every trap they play is chainable, which makes your Spell/Trap removal strictly worse to boot. A laissez faire attitude and general naivety is what your opponent will be hoping for. Don’t give it to them. He’s right that nobody should underestimate this deck and just toss it aside. It has achieved massive success in the OCG for a reason. It is consistent, formidable and difficult to side against, especially when your opponent is keenly aware what you’re going to side deck against them and can plan accordingly.

I have made a mystic mine deck that beats pretty much everything. Someone would have to draw really well and have 3 mst, 3 twin twisters, imperial order, royal decree, and so on. Basically if you duel me youd side all 15 and cant truly run the decks engine. Easier to made a board unplayable than break one.
