As a bigfan and enthusiast of crystal beasts im glad to know i had almost the same setup with slight difference in extra deck and a few crystal miracles for easier negation. And like he said i have seen the consistency just go crazy.

Rainbow Ruins over Miracle, Conclave, and/or Necrovalley is crazy!

Conclave is ass and I don't get how all other CB players think it's the best card in the archetype. Literally just fucking play Compulse if you want a bounce that badly lmao Necrovalley interferes with my own plays and I don't fuck with floodgates to begin with, so that's a card I won't even consider. Miracle has been in and out of my builds tbh. I like it but feel it is not currently necessary.

@@dazk5317 It definitely takes practice! I labbed and theorycrafted for 3-5 hours almost every night for three months before taking this to a tournament. It definitely IS easier to just settle for Miracle, but I want to have the ability to negate multiple spells and traps. People draw into 2+ boardbreakers pretty consistently. It'd suck to get Evenly'd after using your omni-negate on DRNM, ya know?

I have a question With the set crystal revenge there were released the evolved crystal biests. Is there a reason you didn’t use them?

It would force me to use Advanced Dark, which does nothing aside from letting me play Advanced Crystals. After extensive testing, I figured they weren't worth running a dead field spell when Rainbow Ruins already exists and is an insane card.

So I'm new to Crystal and wanted to try it out, found one of the structures at my local Walmart. I'm a long time player, but have fallen away from the franchise for several years until recently. Current budget build I'm running is Mikanko, but these always piqued my interest. Out of curiosity, which spell was the 3 of that required Rainbow? Was it Refraction? I never heard you mention the name. Sounds like a fun build all around though! Minus Little Knight. Don't have that kind of extra cash handy. 😅

If I remember correctly, these were the die results: Round 1 vs Branded (die win) 2-0 Round 2 vs Runick Generaider (die win) 2-0 Round 3 vs Labrynth (can't remember die result) 2-0 Round 4 vs Kashtira (die loss) 1-2 Round 5 vs Exosister (can't remember die result) 2-1 Round 6 vs Horus Tearlaments (die win) 2-1 Round 7 vs Dogmatika Invoked (die loss) 0-2 Round 6 was the only match I felt where the die roll actually decided the winner tbh. I played better than my opponents in rounds 1, 2, and 5. I cheesed my round 3 opponent.
