Everyone keeps harping on about Electromagnetic Turtle, but an error was already made in the first turn of the Duel. I would like to bring to everyone's attention to the Card Destruction that was activated in the first turn of the Duel, while Protector of the Sanctuary is face-up on the field. What is wrong with this play exactly? In Yu-Gi-Oh!, to activate a card or effect, you have to be able to resolve the effect of that card or effect in full on resolution. In other words, you'd have to fulfill all the terms and conditions, and effects as outlined on the card before you are allowed to play it. In this instance, Card Destruction is a card that makes both players draw cards when it resolves. But Protector of the Sanctuary's effect says that your opponent cannot draw cards, outside of the Draw Phase. To put it in layman's terms, that Card Destruction play was illegal and should not (and cannot) be activated. Nevertheless, I could see where Treasure Key Studios was going for here, as there are legal ways to take advantage of Protector of the Sanctuary's effect that deny the opponent from drawing cards. To illustrate, I would everyone to image the following scenario: It is the first turn of the Duel, and you are going first. Your opening hand consists of Card Destruction, Temple of the Kings, Call of the Haunted, Thunder Dragon, and Foolish Burial. You draw for turn (because this is before Master Rules 3), and you get Jinzo. Assume that your opponent has no cards to interrupt you while you are making your plays. You proceed to Main Phase 1. First, you activate Foolish Burial, sending Protector of the Sanctuary to the Graveyard. Next, you activate Temple of the Kings, which allows its controller once per turn on every turn to activate a Trap Card during the turn that Trap Card was Set. You follow this by setting Call of the Haunted. After that, you activate Card Destruction, but before the card resolves, you activate your Set Call of the Haunted as Chain Link 2, targeting your Protector of the Sanctuary that is in your Graveyard. What happens now? The Chain thus resolves like this: you Special Summon Protector of the Sanctuary; when it hits the field, its effect immediately starts applying. In the case of Card Destruction, the card was already activated, so you try to resolve as much as you are legally allowed as written on the card. Both players discard their entire hand, but in this situation, since Protector of the Sanctuary was Summoned mid-resolution, only you would be able to draw cards from Card Destruction, while your opponent gets nothing. Sorry for this long block of text. At the end of the day, I can appreciate the fact that Treasure Key Studios is working hard to bring interest into the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, though Yu-Gi-Oh! as a whole is pretty complicated in terms of what you can and cannot do in a game. I hope they keep up the good work.

What a spectacular episode! The duel was so much fun to watch. Evelyn is already one of my favorite duelists in the show, and that guy deserved to have his ass handed to him. And while his Lightsworn Deck was pretty difficult for Evelyn, he unfortunatly had one fatal weakness, Lightsworns are all about milling, thus costing him to lose the duel due to his overconfidence, Darien is already one of my most hated characters. Wouldn't surprise me if he joins the Dragon Hunters out of sheer pettiness. Also I loved the LGBTQ representation here, it's not everyday a Yu-Gi-Oh! series has romance. And I'm ALL for it!

This was a very great episode. It kind of made me frustrated cause of the Protector to Yata combo in the beginning but I loved the rest of this episode. The duel was actually intense and the ending of that duel was honest to god one of my new favorite endings to a duel ever. I bursted out laughing watching it and it was genuinely amazing. Also, I loved Kisara and Evelyn in this episode and them having something more with each other with love is honestly amazing and I applaud you for that very much. Im enjoying this serie quite alot. Alot of fun characters and good duels. However. There's a couple of missplays. First one is at at 17:34 cause Electro Magnetic Turlte's effect can only be actived *once per duel* The second one is at 19:35. When Gaia battles with a monster. That monster's attack points are halved. So he should had taken 1650 life points instead of 500. But other then that. It was a pretty accurate and entertaining duel.
