The Dark Magician isn't really a character as such, he's just a hologram of a monster from the "Duel Monsters" card game used in the anime. He is, however, the reincarnated form of Priest Mahad, the original user of the Millennium Ring back in Ancient Egypt 5000 years ago before it got stolen by Dark Bakura.

@@brickmeupscottie no worries, I'm still new to the franchise myself. I'm currently on about episode 109 of the anime (4Kids dub season 3). Most of the Egyptian backstory happens around season 5, when Dark Yugi (Pharaoh Atem of Egypt) gets his memories back.

I’m so sorry you feel that way. I’ve been getting haters so this is my way of responding back to keep humor going for myself…I haven’t heard any issues about it. Thanks for the heads up. I do get a lot of other request to change other things around but I think soon it’ll all drive me insane. 7 years and counting I may need to stop making vids and take a break soon.
