I'm American and both my bio mother and bio father are from Scott families. Moms was a Norman family living in Scotland for many generations until they migrated to England 940 years ago, and dads was supposedly Swedes who migrated to Denmark and lived for generations and then migrated from Denmark to Scotland and lived for generations before being ousted by the crown to Ulster Ireland. It appears my ancestors had a penchant for marrying English aristocrats and now I'm more English than Scott. BTW American Scotts are often obsessed with their ancestry. A whole lot more than people whos nationality is Scott and not just their ethnicity. :)

Anyway, my uncle emmigrated to UK and he commented UK food sucks because all the food are sticky and thick and slimy LMAO Anyway glad to hear that y'all saying Scottish food is much better than England food. Though I think I would never ever able to visit UK despite the fact I'm a Malaysian, my saving will never grant me a visit to UK due to the exchange rate and it's bloody hell lots LOL, still glad that to hear in UK there are still great food around =D
