Is the game released in English yet? I can’t seem to find anything downloadable or any route guides.

Nope but considering Gin iro haruka is being translated by Tsurezure Scans they'll probably get around to it at some point.

Is this game kanji heavy or would I be able to get by with kana?
@StarCagge2 жыл бұрын
You're going to have a lot of trouble trying to read any story-focused game with just kana. But if you download textractor and some kind of japanese text parser (I use the nazeka extension for firefox, you can right-click and choose "open reader") you can start to slowly learn kanji while reading ^^

@@StarCagge That is the eventual goal. I was surprised to learn that I could reach my goal of starting VNs before I get a significant grasp on kanji. I will probably start with this game as it has been a kind of white whale for me and a partial inspiration for learning Japanese in general. Thank you for the reply 😉

@@StarCagge I followed a tutorial and now have a JP copy of Tsukikana, Textractor, and Nazeka running. Nazeka has more utility outside of pulling text from a parser than I initially realized. It all works. Now I just want to get a little stronger grasp on grammar before diving in. *Hops back onto Busuu*
